I have started one of these and I am using parts from the imperial guards (red) and cloud car pilot. I don't think that just using 1 base figure is a good idea, especially for those that are going to make a squad. Using a long ladder is good as long as you have enough rungs... sorta speak.. I am stocked about this project as I like having fringe characters to break up the mundane.. I will submit my entry even if it is agains't the jedi councel ( my qui-gon jinness)

I started these last night and still need to work on the guns and back packs but thought that I would show you guys where I am @ with these commando's. These are tough guys to get good solid refrences from, I think that a lot of my paint applicantions are similar but might not be dead on:

I would have suspected Gardulla to have a loft apartment
I like the spawn/ephant mon dude.. Good use of 2 big chucks of plastic. I have always wanted to do a custom dex jettster as a warrior/brawler/thug before he was a dinner cook. A little off topic, but it was the big lug that reminded me of wanting to do that. Anyway looks great..

I am not going to break up these lots as I have them bagged and it would honestly be a hastle to pick an item here or there, so that being said I am willing to barter and the prices are not nesassarily carved in stone. I feel that I have items in each group that are better then others, this is my way of culling and I might have a part that you are needing, wanting or have misplaced.

Thanks, it was way more tough that I was antisipating it to be. The colour looks a lot brighter in the pictures then in actuality. I had to mix 3 paints to get the jango custume just right. The gloves are a little day-glow I agree...
One of the best Jangos I have ever seen, period end of story. Great job the paint apps are nice and smooth, and the parts choices are great.Thanks, it definately turned out better then I had expected! It was a no brainer for parts, it hurts the collection but definately the correct parts were used.

I like the troopers a lot. You have done a great job on those! I enjoy seeing your work almost daily. It's a great inspiration! I was making customs pre-ep1 and have seen many persons customs develop over the years, yours are right up in a class that many would like to achieve. That being said, I don't get to comment on everyone's customs as much as I would like to, or should 
There are many more people making molds, sculpting and painting with an artistic edge to them more then ever. Hasbro and the other 3 3/4" toy manfactures are making better base figures to work with so I can only see customs getting better and better.
So keep it up and raise the bar to new heights
