For the last couple of years we ran an informal poll with your 10 most wanted characters from the current Star Wars Films. Continuing the tradition and trying to finish up before Comic Con 2007, I thought it would be a good time to revisit those lists. Here's how it works: You send your Wish List for 10 3 3/4" Figures to me or post them here, be it new figures, resculpts or even re-releases and I'll tally the votes. After four weeks of list taking I'll publish the results and we will move on to the next movie. The second Prequel Episode II:Attack of the Clones is now up. Episode 2 is definitely a little more appealing visually with characters. The Outlander has some interesting looking guys in it, Mos Espa's brief moments, Separatist and Republic Dignitaries... There's some more appeal here than Episode 1 to me, however there are fewer main character choices to me... E1 really needs main character resculpts galore. I omitted Jango under the assumption he's coming. I hope I'm right, otherwise I'd replace almost anyone but Zam, Obi, and the Kamino Clone onto that list with SA Jango Fett...
Surprised so few want a new young Boba Fett by the way. I personally think that's one of the worst figures of E2... That and Senator Jar Jar both need a resculpting. Guess I want them, just not as bad as these others.

That's not surprising to me at all. It's indicative that young Boba is a crap character that nobody gives a crap about. Same with Jar Jar. Same with Jake Lloyd Anakin. Sure, new figures would blow away their older versions, but nobody cares about the characters to begin with, and everybody's just fine with the figures they've already got. I think it'll be at least several years from now before you start to see a lot of people clamoring for updated versions of these franchise-killers.

Like others, its mainly the Lars family and Padmes for this movie. There's still some background stuff too, but many of the Jedi were served with the nicely done ROTS versions. With the comic pack Obi-Wan, we've got a nice SA AOTC version (or maybe a head swap with the ROTS Pilot version as well), and a re-release of the Evolutions Anakin would be good too. This list is based on us getting a SA Jango Fett as rumored, as that would probably be my top choice.

5/10 for me. I'm surprised only 1 Padme made it; still some excellent choices... even though they didn't make my short list, we do need an SA Obi-Wan and Zam.

I think I got six or seven, very good! I wish Zam and Barriss had placed higher but thats okay. Good to see Jocasta up there.

For once I seem to be in line with others... 7 is unheard of for me.
But honestly, more people want Jocasta Nu than the Kamino Training Clone? Wha?
She has lines, sure, but that has to be one of the most boring figure choices I think, compared to the only available choice for a new clone from AOTC. To each their own, but Nu's just not someone I'd really be excited about adding to the old collection. :)

Wow... 8/10!! ;D ... though really, other than the Lars family, the others I wouldn't be that excited about and would probably only buy SA resculpts of Obi, Zam & Barriss Offee.... perhaps Dorme & the Padme, but I guess I'm getting PT'd out. Bring on OT figures!!!

Thrilled that Dorme, Beru, and another Padme made the list. IMO Padme is always hit or miss with her figures due to sculpt,paint, etc.

Contry to certain beliefs, we do not need another clone, I for one am cloned out. I would perfer to see more Jedi's or Re sculpted Jedi's that have been made already. Not a huge fan of the Lars clan even though I voted for them, they did play an important roll in episodes 2 and 4. I do believe we need a new sculpt of Barriss though. Jocasta Nu I think is as important as some of the other request that had less or even no lines on the screens then even some of the one's mentioned were one second scenes. I got 6 of the 10 that I voted for and though I am new to this what does this mean? Also I am not trying to ruffle any feathers here just giving my opinion.

Getting 6 of 10, means you're 60%. ;) Seriously though, last year hardly a choice got picked by hasbro in AotC to be made. Just the Fireside Padme and maybe SA Jango (which still haven't been confirmed as far as I know). But Scott (OCB if you don't know him) does compiles these lists and they are given to Hasbro to show what the fans want. I think it's fun, but it's hard to choose just ten. There are so many figures out there that haven't been made (like Willrow Hood or Yarna, Tonnika Sisters) and have yet to be immortalized in plastic!
I could go on, but eventually, there will be slim pickings in out voting choices (I hope).
