Lets just hope this Silver Clone dose'nt have two left feet like the silver R2-D2 did. I'm still baffled how Hasbro could let that slide. ???

Star Wars Dioramas and Displays / Re: Coruscant Jedi Club...

I have been building diorama for about 2 years now, my first one was the Mos Eisley Cantina, and I am not talking about no cardboard display from Kenner, this is an accurate scale replica for the 3 3/4 figures complete with lights in the tables and above the bar, and recently I expanded it with more buildings to create a Mos Eisley street scene as well as the bar. This is a work in progress, and I will be showing this one soon. I have also built a Deathstar diorama, Jabba's torture room, a Bacta Medical center scene, Mos Espa slave quarters where Anaikin was living as a kid, a small Endor scene, and a huge Cobra chemical factory diorama for the G.I. Joe fans out their which is for sale. Oh yeah, I also built a small diorama for my Tusken Raiders to hang out. I am curently working on one of the most complicated one I have made to date. This one should be really cool when it is complete.

My insperation for all these was the great NIUBNIUB. The Master. :)

DSJ, I did'nt have to let it go, I am spreading the diorama joy to people that can't build them themselvs. It is a great way to display your loose figs, and a great way to use up all these accessories we have been getting. In this case it was the three bar sets we all got in 2002. I built this whole diorama around them.  Besides, I can always build another fo myself. THANKS FOR THE COMPLIMENTS. :D

Thanks for the welcome Kevin, I did put two links in the custom section for two dioramas I built, and sold on e-bay. I will be showing more over time, that I have kept in my personal collection. ;)

Collector's Tips / Re: Storing Loose Figs
« on: January 24, 2004, 09:38 AM »
I display my 400+ figures in dioramas, and on shelf units. My Cantina diorama has 70 or more figures in it, and my Geonosian setup has about the same. 140+ figures in two dioramas, and they look sweet in their natural suroundings. The rest are scattered throughout smaller dioramas, and shelf displays.  The whole setup really impresses people when they first see it. This just goes to show, you do'nt have to be a carded collector to be cool. ;)

Get loose with your figs. ;D

Hi all, I have been colecting Star Wars sinse POTF flashback figures came out. 95% of my over 400 figures are loose, and I am heavily into diorama building. I think dioramas are the best way to display a collection but man they take up the space. Just thought I would say Hi.

Saga '02-'04 / Re: Frustrations of displaying your figures...
« on: January 24, 2004, 09:08 AM »
You could put  a dab of hot glue on one of the feet and stick the figures down. They stay in place, and the glue is removeable without a trace of damage to the figure if you want to move them. I have had my share of the domino effect with these figures, and it can get very frustraiting.

I have been peeved about this since the first release of this speeder, way to flimsy plastic. They just have to notice this in testing the toy. I wonder why they could'nt fix this in the new Clone Wars one?

These are something I would have to pass on compared to buying the regular figures, but I got the first wave for free. So now i'm into these for the long haul. I'll have to say, they do look cool on display.
