1 was a preview on Tuesday night with local collecting buds set up by Bobafett14 (Thanks Bob!). I had an intense headache throughout the movie though, and that sucked.
2 was the premiere on Wednesday which I have had my ticket bought for a while now. Again, Bobafett14 (Thanks Bob!) bought out part of the VIP section at the Pittsburgh Loews Cineplex... For $25 you got a nice buffet, plush seating in the best seats in the house, a sorta "special" event... It was a good time, and Bob also made up some PSWCS VIP badges for everyone which were neat to have. The bad news was I again was dealing with a raging headache most of the night.
3 was just tonight... My non-SW buddy wanted to see the movie but had to go out of town this week for training so he, I, and another friend went to see the film... I actually had even a better time the 3rd time than the previous 2! I actually had a migraine headache tonight as well though. Go figure...
Lots of fun though. The film's fantastic to me.

Second at a Drive in Movie theatre with Famine
Third Time at the same drive in with Famine, we foguth with lightsabers! :D
Fourth time today with my father.
And this is not the last of it either. My mother wants to see it with me, and my crazy college friend Chisel wants to go see it with me also.
Each time I enjoy it more.
with episode I and II i enjoyed them less and less. althought AOTC has grown in my favor recently. and TPM is ok in my book now (I am numb to Jar Jar)

The local theater chain opened a brand new screen for the debut of Episode 3 - UltraScreen.
Marcus UltraScreen (http://www.marcustheatres.com/ultrascreen.cfm)
It's basically a screen that is 75ft wide and 32 ft tall with a kick-ass digital sound system.
The huge screen was nice, but the sound system they had totally blew me away. I've seen 3 movies there now and the sound for each has been phenomenal!

Two places the sound kicked butt...the opening scene with the Jedi Fighters and the Drums in the background...great sound effects all through there.
The other was in the Boga/Wheelbike chase. Even though that damn Boga was annoying, the sound system really shined

So far I have seen it twice with plans on seeing it at least twice more with my parents and a coworker.

A crappy time code copy is not going to stop me from going to the theater again though, and on top of that, we just found out a digital projection/Lucasfilm projector theater is an hour away!

Third time is tonight at 11:15pm for me - the 2K digital projection at the Dome @ Arclight. It was nice having the weekend off from anything Star Wars, and I'm ready to try another dose and see how I react.

I've seen it twice, and my third viewing will be Friday night. I'm almost hessitant to go too much in a short amount of time, as I don't want the "Wow!" factor to disapear. :-\

I plan on seeing it a couple more times, at least. And one or more of those will be digital. And as long as a tractor doesn't fall onto the interstate again, I won't miss the first few minutes like I did for AOTC!

I'll be seeing it again this weekend as well... Not that I harbor ill-will to those other films, it's just that they really are pointless with a Star Wars movie in the theaters.

I was supposed to go to the 9:30am showing this morning, but I woke up at 10am and my friend went and saw it alone.
I felt horrible, but not so much after I realized she didn't bother calling me until 45 minutes after I was supposed to meet her---I mean, it's no excuse for my mistake, but I wonder why she wouldn't call me before she was 30 minutes into the film. :( ???

"Only" twice so far for me, but I'd like to catch it at least a couple more times in the theaters since there's so many tiny details that I'm hoping to get another look at since the movie flies by so fast in some spots.

I had intended to sneak out and see it again last week, but it is the "Busy" season at the office, so I was chained to my desk.
I am going to try to get to see it again this weekend. And since it is RAINING, there won't be any Watersports for the 3 day weekend. What better way to spend a rainy weekend though...

I was planning on seeing it again this morning, but some refridgerator issues in my home kept me here as a new one was delivered. I now have to go out and stock it so I probably won't get to the theater today. I'f I'm not called into work tomorrow (I'm on back-up), I plan on going in the morning.
So I'm still at 4 viewings.

She was giving you some "flexibility" in being there on time without hounding you. She probably figured 45 minutes would be the most amount of time you would be late without there being something necessarily wrong.
A guy probably wouldn't have called you at all.
Females worry.
Truly though, if she isn't even a SW fan you SO owe to make this up to her... We are talking Hillary Duff movie in around 2 weeks...

4 after this weekend... Would like to see it more but I'd be flying solo on that I fear. My friends are tapped out and the gf said once was enough. Damn.
May have to do the matinee any way for it... Wish we had a digital screen within driving distance, but unfortunately it seems the armpit of U.S. (Cleveland) is the only place even remotely close with one... unless the theater opening in July has one at it. :-\

I'm up to 6 after tonight. I took my mom tonight and she loved it. She thought it was amazing and she said she thought it was the best and it deserves best picture at the Acadamy Awards. I've got to take my Dad to see it sometime too, but he hasn't seen AOTC yet so I have to watch that with him sometime, even though I could have sworn he went and saw it with me once in theathers.... My mom said she wants to go again so that's at least 8, and I have to see it with my best friend who I saw both TPM and AOTC wtih on opening day, but we were at different theaters for ROTS. And then I have a few other friends who wnat to go, so I could easily hit 12 times by the end of the summer. :)

Luckily, I was not called into work today, so I was able to get to the theater for my fifth viewing of ROTS.
There were a lot of people in the theater (I'm guessing due to the bad weather we're having), but was glad that the people waiting in line for seats were for Madagascar.

I finally got in today. Thank god for teacher's "having the summer off". I plan to go a few more times.
GL has redeemed my faith in SW and I put this one right up there with ESB as the best two of the saga.

I saw it again for the second time yesterday. I liked it my first time seeing it but I really loved it yesterday. It may actually crack the top 3 for me. I will have to determine that sometime I guess. It's just hard breaking the OT for me as.

I've seen it twice now, after going again this weekend. I think I enjoyed it even more this time around as well. I really liked it the first time, but seemed to like it even more with repeat viewings. I'd like to go 1-2 more times, but we'll have to see how it goes. I got the Mrs. to go with me twice, but I think I'd be going solo if I wanted to go anymore. My dad and brother still want to go, so there is still hope, now it is just finding the time in the next month or so ;).

Yes!! ROTS held off the competition quite handsomely. There must be alot of mainstream viewers going for repeat viewings. Each time I go, the theatres are pretty much near capacity, even for the early bird showings. :D

Saw it this weekend with me pop -- his first viewing, my fifth. I've probably got one more in me, but I must confess after this many viewings in so short a time I'm getting a little (only a little) bored with it.
I seriously think this is more than the number of times I've watched AOTC and probably equal to TPM!

As of my last viewing (which was the Saturday before last), I have seen ROTS 12 times. The only thing that is keeping me from going to see it again is superstition.
I'm afraid that if I go see it again, that will mean I've seen it 13 times. With it being near the end of the theatrical run, I'm afraid that I would not be able to watch it a 14th time, and I would be forever haunted by seeing it at that unlucky number.
As spiritual as I'm not, sometimes it's best to just not tempt fate. :) Plus, at this point I've begun to spot flaws (like hopalong R2, flesh hand Vader, and SBD dots), so maybe it's best I not see it again until the DVD is released. ;D

At this point, I saw it at the early premiere, midnight, opening day....and then the Saturday after opening day.
I haven't seen it since.
I saw Episode 2 nine times and I didn't even like it. What's wrong with me?

I saw it for the 3rd time, which is a lot for me. I don't make it to the theater very often (I only saw TPM once and AOTC twice). 8)

I saw it this weekend for the 3rd time as well, and it was still great ;). My dad and brother had not seen it yet, so we went to that...and followed it up with Fantastic Four. Pretty good day of movies. I'd like to see ROTS at least once more before it leaves theatres, but I'm thinking that might not be until it hits the bargain $2 theatres.

Just to nullify/support my previous post, I had viewings number 13 and 14 last weekend. Once I saw it for the 13th time, I *had* to see it for a 14th. I'm thinking this is the last week it will be in theaters around here, so I'm watching one film per day, starting yesterday with TPM, AOTC today, and then going back to see ROTS for the final time in theaters tomorrow, then following that up with the OT one day each later this week.
The thing that is really striking is how many people are still going to see it in theaters at this point. While it wasn't packed the other day, there were twice as many people seeing ROTS than there were yesterday when I saw "Dark Water" (which was a really good film, IMHO).

I saw it only once. I want to see it again and again and again. But, I will just wait for it to come out on DVD. Sometimes it's too much money to go to the movies even the matinee. :)
