Non-update, nothing to see here.  Just putting up pics of my other Aqua Clone for a friend to see.  Dialup users, click the Back button ASAP!

Chatter-chatter

I'm still behind on the custom challenges.  :(  Oh well, the T sisters sound challenging.

I won't stop until I get tired of it.  Whenever my wife asks when I might stop, I just reply:  "When are you going to stop painting little pieces of wood to plaster our walls with?  When will you quit scrapbooking, and making cute little dollies for our daughter?"

It's a hobby, it's constructive, and fun.  The reason it's viewed by many as a kid's hobby is because it utilizes action figures.

That coupled with his effervescent, Richard Simmons-esque personality, and you've got the catch of the century!

Ugh, whited-out eyes are a sure-fire way to freak me out.  Nice job!  Only other thing I'd do would be to take a few chunks of his flesh out, to indicate he's been chomped on by other zombies.

I don't think anybody who does commissions expects the buyer to turn around and sell it for a profit.  There is no manufacturer/retailer/consumer relationship here, and commissioning a custom usually costs less than it would to compete with other buyers on ebay.

I'd be ticked if somebody did that to me, especially with the exceptional time required and resulting quality pieces you guys and guys like Bantha5 turn out.  I'd probably decide not to make and sell anything to that person anymore, but that's just me.

There may be some unknown factors:  Maybe the seller fell on extremely difficult financial times.  If I lost my job, etc., my action figures would be the first thing to go after a few more extraneous things were liquidated.

I use the pinstriping tape found at hobby shops.  It's perfect for nice straight or slightly curved lines.  Just don't leave it on overnight, or it'll leave a residue.

Jeff hooked me up with a bunch of custom fodder -- which was desperately needed -- and shipped it super fast!

Thanks,
