I'm also a helpdesk/pc tech so I might be able to help. My first thought was to use the winxp recovery cd and re-install xp.  Also, do you have "spybot search&destroy" and "ad-aware" anti-spyware programs? you can download them for frree and they search your system for spyware programs which can cause the problem you described.

sneak preview jango and kamino escape jango both had a removable backpack which plugged into the hole in the slave 1 ship. The slave 1 ship is awesome by the way!!!
Either figure plus pilot jango fits into a slot built in the cockpit for jango and two others behind him.  :)

I'm glad to see it come down to the Eagles and Panthers, they're both good teams.

That said though, I think the Superbowl is going to be an AFC victory.

the only thing about that is that IF the Pack had won, they'd played in Charlotte  for the NFC and I was trying hard to find someone with ticket connections. My wife talks to a cousin who lives in charlotte and says he gets free tickets all the time; then the Eagles win so it doesn't matter.
But I gotta pull for the Panthers to win over the eagles and return to Houston (thankfully NOT playing the Texans where the panthers gave the game away)!! IT'll be Panthers vs Patriots for superbowl 38!!!
Panthers win on a kasay fg - in overtime!!! :)

y'all must be Rams fans, sorry but I have to cheer for my Panthers in their win. It was ugly, it was filled with errors and it took (almost) 2 overtimes for the Cats to scratch the lambs.
Hmm what's that sound I hear?...
it's the Silence of the Rams!!!

our local paper carries it as well as the cities' "unofficial" newspaper. It's kinda out there but cool enough.

yeah I was a lifelong raider fan until the Panthers showed up, they are my home state team so I gotta pull for them, right? Plus I like variety and being a football nut, you gotta have more than one favorite;)

Don't count out the Panthers, most recent Superbowl champs didn't have great offenses either; it's the defense and special teams. Panthers will have a week 1 bye in playoffs then face either dallas or eagles for NFC title.

Toy Reviews / Re: Wat Tambor
« on: November 10, 2003, 04:59 PM »
I picked him up recently. Though not entirely movie-accurate in coloration or shininess, he is a very cool looking alien dude, one I knew I wanted to have if ever made. his pose is very limited with head, shoulder and wrist articualtion as well as hidden waist and very hidden legs. At least he can stand very well. I was surprised how heavy his base was, given that he has to stand on it. It is a nice accessory too. 3.5 out of 5 stars. ;)

Yeah I just picked him up the other day along with Wat Tambor. I think this jedi really rocks! He has great sculpt and detailing. i love the weathereed look to him. The posability is both unique (ball socket joints in left knee and right ankle and shoulders) and plain, wrist and let elbow. But he is very unique looking, especially for a new jedi only briefly seen in the council scene (his head is between Obi and Anakin) and as he goes mano a mano with jango.
4 out of 5 stars! :)

Saga '02-'04 / Re: Best AOTC Anakin EVER!
« on: September 6, 2003, 12:14 PM »
I also found one (well actually 2 - 1 for me and 1 to trade) and he is realy cool. I didn't know he was going to have articulated ankles but the ball socket shoulder is a winner! i always wanted one with a cloak after seeing the movie and hanger duel anakin is cool too! the magnet for mine works well and has never just fallen off.  but his pose was sorta limited. this is one is the best!
