At the Medicom Exhibition there was a Jedi Luke Skywalker on display. He is dressed in the ROTJ black and is posed with a green lightsaber in a an attack pose. It was approximately 10 inches tall and looked non-articulated. Looks cool and is really nicely detailed.
-
Same series as Boba?
-
No it wasn't a warped one like Boba and was a bit taller.
-
Cutie version or normal version?
-
Normal. I think its part of the Real Action Heros Series..
-
Any chance is Kotobukiya Series?
-
Nah. It was a Medicom Exhibition. It wasn't a kit or anything. It was a kind of statue.
-
Understand,thanks :)
-
Sound interesting... Maybe a new line? ???
-
I think its part of the Real Action Heros Series..
Uh, what's that Simon? Is that a standard Kubrick line, that runs across all their various licenses/franchises? Or is it something new, specific to Star Wars?
Hopefully it's nothing of interest to me, 'cause I've got all I can handle/stomach with the regular Kubrick line! :P
-
Nah it didn't really turn my crank Matt. If you go into the Medicom Site and click product list and the Real Action Heros, you'll see what I mean.

Now I know what is he saying.Yes, it is Medicom RAH :D
Medicom Real Heros Series - Luke Jedi
Today I bought a Japanese figure magazine. It has some pictures about Medicom Exhibition.I saw the kubricks, then saw a Luke Jedi figure. His name is Medicom Real Heros Series - Luke Jedi ;) ;) ;)
-
That's the one.
-
Spider-Man is the latest RAH

Here we go ;)

Not a best pic but still can see Luke with "baby face" Yes,each RAH sold for about US$125. Not every collector can afford. I think he is limited edition,so why he sold quite expensives :o
-
That looks alright but I'm not interested...Vader maybe...Luke, no thanks. Thanks wai :)
-
I'll pass too. Just like Scott, Vader maybe, not Luke.
-
Are you guys sure it's pre-pose? The RAH series of figures have all been pose-able 12” (with the exception of some early female characters). If Luke is a RAH, they’ll likely use the RAH body which has something like 30 articulation points, if you look closely at Luke’s hand you can see the wrist pivot joint. Also $120 is a bit steep for a static figure.
After the untimely demise of Marmit’s SW line- If Medicom has indeed procured the rights to do pose-able large size figures it could be a very good thing… bring on Darth Vader!
-
i don't know... i'm kinda digging that luke. i'm not digging the $125 price tag tho. i'm worried that if i pass on him and then they start making other sw figs in this line that i want, i'll just have to go back and get luke anyway ;)
-
I believed it is true that Medicom to produce ARH Series of SW Characters. You can see the "RAH" clearly :D
Like Bob Crane said, there will be many articulation points in this series figures.About the price,it should be worth because they all are limited edition :)And of course, you can just buy what you want.I also want Darth Vader ;D

wai posted this in the Kubrick thread but this shows Luke a little bit better
And if its articulated its a little bit better to stomach. Something a tad bit odd with the face
-
If you don't want pay that lot money for this Luke or cannot afford the payment, then you can.....

Too bad I missed this one!
I`m sure they would have backed out of it, but funny to see one listed
by mistake like this.
-
Wow! That is by far the best price I've seen for one! ;D
-
Got mine in the mail today, waiting on Vader now (soon, SOON!)

Good stuff, nice pictures. Can't wait to see both Luke and Vader together. 8)
-
That cloak seems a little heavy around his face - do you have any more pictures without the cloak? I'd love to see how poseable he actually is. :)
-
I`ll try and get some more pics up.
The cloak has a wire around the hood part, so I have to get it just right.
Very impressed with it though.
The belt is a bitch to get strapped on, I might have to do something permanent
with it (dab of glue maybe?).
The saber comes with the blade, you take it out, and there is end you put
on it so it looks like its not powered up.
Bunch of different hands too and seems very sturdy, not going to break it
playing around with it (knock on wood just in case ;-) )

I knew I saw this review somewhere and totally forgot where.

MUCH better pics than I could ever do, check it out!

Sithbaker,
My advice to you about Luke's Belt...I clasped mine without putting it on Luke first, let it sit for a couple of days (I had that kind of time) and then put it on the Luke figure. It seemed to go on a lot easier that way.

Thanks, I`ll give that a try.
I just wanted to get him set up when I got him, being a geek and all, now that I
have had some fun with him I can set the belt on the side for awhile to break it in.
-
Now I'm disappointed that I never bothered to order this figure. I'll have to check around and see if any retailers have him available still. Thanks for the link to the photos!!

I swear I read somewhere that they are making more Luke, but I don`t know where I read it.
-
I hope so. The regular online retailers I frequent don't have him and I'm not too comfortable with using Ebay on this. No offense to anyone from Japan but it's a bit too much for shipping.
-
RAH Luke is now available for pre-order from StarWarsShop.com for only $169.99 plus shipping. Ships Aug 30th if you are still looking for one of these... it is a Hyperspace exclusive until Monday though. :-\

Sithbaker How did you get your Luke's lightsaber apart? I'm scared to death to pull on the full saber but I see the small "cover" piece so I assume it comes of. After battling with the stupid belt holes for 45 minutes, I just can't handle breaking the saber!!
-
Beth,
The saber comes apart just below the "emitter" portion. Just hold the hilt and pull gently on the blade and they will separate.

Yep, that`ll do it.
Just watch the little metal ring, I hear they come off easily :o

Well, I tried but it seems to be stuck on there for good. I have his cape on anyway, doing the ole "you will take me to Jabba now" trick so no big deal I guess. I LOVE the cape on this figure!!
