Just got an email from BBTS - so no clue where to post, but...
Hasbro will be debuting our two awesome new GI Joe 7-Packs at the New York
Comic-Con tomorrow! We can't tell you any specifics about the sets, but
there are never before released figures included and you can only get them
at BigBadToyStore! Check our site tomorrow for preorder listings!

Kind of ironic- a boxed set based around Sgt. Slaughter's Renegades and Marauders without a Slaughter in it. But seeing Mercer, Red Dog, and Taurus updated makes it neat.
And that Dreadnok pack is awesome. Gotta have it. :)

Awesome. Love the Dreadnok set, what a great way to get the remaining original 'Noks (plus Zanya and the black dude). Must be a rights issue with calling Thrasher Thunder. Hopefully Gnawgahyde comes with his wild boar. I'm also glad they didn't include another Zartan with the set.
Getting the Marauders set strictly for Mercer, Red Dog and Taurus. Would love to have seen Sarge included as I never managed to get him.

The Slaughter's Marauders set is a pretty easy pass for me (although if any of you want to sell me the Falcon loose, I'd be interested), but I pre-ordered that Dreadnok set.

If you pre-order off BBTS let 'em know JD sent ya! I thought the $89.99 deal wasn't bad if you wanted both sets. I'm going to see if my bro's ordering these or what.
I love the Dreadnok set... Won't buy it for myself, but that's pretty awesome and a nice tidy way to wrap them up.

Ya I'm pretty pissed there's no Slaughter in this set especially after Hasbro commented on how fast the SDCC versions sold out and that they promised he'd be back in some shape or form. Ya....no. Nice to see there's a combo deal with the Resolute sets for $125. I will bite on that.

Cripes. Two weeks after I buy the Resolute sets, they have this even better deal. Oh well. Can't wait for these sets. Very nice way to finish off the 'Noks

It is a pretty sweet deal. All said and done and shipped to your door for 28 figures it is under $5 a figure. I am thinking about it...

I hate those guys. I had to wait for one to stop giving the history of cosplay lightsaber fighting techniques, and offering his consulting services on FX lightsaber design to make them more duel-worthy, to Mark Boudreaux at CV.
Also, I should have tried to meet up with you, Paul. NYCC was really busy and I think I went in not prepared for it and got a little overwhelmed. It's like a SW Celebration on crack and roids.

I know the Terrordrome and Generals Joes got their sets from BBTS and they ordered as soon as the pre-orders went up. One of the guys that writes for another site, ENI maybe, got his early, also from BBTS. Maybe they shipped out the first waves early to the sites for review? I haven't really been on the Joe forums to see if others got them so, I dunno?

I probably won't buy them. I missed out/passed on so many exclusives since the 25th line ended that I no longer feel like a completist of this new stuff. However, I may buy a Zarana if I see one on ebay for cheap someday.

My Dreadnok set arrived today; words can't describe its badassesness.

got these sets today too - love them! the paint apps are great. I think my favorites from each pack are Road Pig (he's an easy pic) and probably Taurus. Taurus looks a lot better than I expected. I like everything about him but his knees. The don't match the sculpting on the legs so there is a slight articulation issue but I can forgive it.
Lowlight is awesome but they didn't give him a knife or whatever the heck it was from the POC version that is supposed to plug into his leg.
also, I broke the hose peg off Blowtorch's backpack while removing him from the package. not sure how that happened...

I just saw that BBTS has a 1 day only sale for the Marauders for 20$ off if anyone was still interested but hasn't bitten yet. I just ordered a set, it's a steal at that price.
