We had this included at a dicussion about SW babes at Scum.

RS member "Geonosian" aka "God of Tacos" said that:
Only geeks get worked up over a comic or video game woman.  

Bill Cable replied:

I sure hope some Star Wars lady illustrations can look "hot", 'cause I have a resident artist here drawing me some as we speak!   ;D  Yeah, I'm a perv, geek, whatever - take your pick.

I wouldn't say that chick in the picture above is "hot" though, but that's just based on my personal tastes.  I'm sure some guys would dig her.  I'd also say that Ariel, Jasmine, and Pocahontas from the various Disney movies were hot, and they're all animated!   :P

A drawing can look hot I'd say, but just don't go foolin' yourself into thinking it's actually something real though, of course.  That's where things can get a little whacky!  Hot, sure.  Something to get "worked up" over - no.

Indeed it's wierd when people get worked up over animated or drawn characters, and I don't think many people do, I just belive the quoted "Rebel Scumbag" chose the wrong words.

Still some of these chick loos hot and you can't deny alor of the fantasy artists are very talented.

Sure, why not.  Lots of people think the Mona Lisa is beautiful (not one of them) and have so for a long time.  What's the difference between a painting and a comic?  Nada.

1) I don't care what anyone personally thinks is hot.  That's their business, and so long as it's not illegal or I don't have to clean up the mess, I could give a rat's ass about their personal ideas of sexual gratification.

2) EVERYONE at a Star Wars site...  Each and every one of you, me, and for damn sure everyone at Rebelscum (Some more so than others) is a geek.  If they deny it with remarks trying to make themselves out to be "above" the other members of the site, then that just solidifies their geekiness to me.  

Elitism in a hobby of nerds is the most pointless, useless, dorky attempt at self-justification ever.  Everyone should accept that 90% of the women they talk to will laugh at them for collecting.  Not necessarily turn them down mind you, but they will still laugh at them in some fashion.

I don't know why,but Animated charecters just don't do it for me.But,who cares,whatever ever floats your boat right?I suppose I prefer the ''real'' thing so to speak.

An animated item can be of corse arousing, I mean, look at the numbers of anime porn being sold at FYE, and other video stores.


I think thats what all Art is meant to do, to arous an emotion, and make the veiwer think.

Uh...  Yeah - that shot wasn't up there before.  Sorry Henrik, but I had to remove your naked chick there.  It might just be art, and not the real thing, but let's still try to have at least some shred of clothing on them please...  Thanks!   :-*
