The Deathstar wave has a rumored figure called Chief Bast. Perhaps that is the designation for the trooper shown on the vintage packaging?

Someone over at RS has compiled a list of the rumored figures which includes the DeathStar wave. I'll have to give complete details later, but included is suposed to be Luke and Han in Stormtroopers disguises, but no pilots.

For as much as I hate to admit it, I think having Han and Luke in this wave is pretty smart. I've head people asking for them as well when looking for figures this past year.

Despite the fact that these are the Gunner bodies, I like this clone a lot. When I sit and think about it, he'll most likely be standing at attention anyway, so the pose works for me.

I have a one of Bly's grunts right here in front of me, and both his holsters are dead even.
I think there being only one side arm is the key to unlocking the mystery of the belt.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking, only one working holster.
But I like Jeff's approach for using two sets two make two fully loaded ROTS clones.

Big Morning. I picked up a set of the DVD packs plus one extra clone set to open as well as two sets of the final 5 plus one extra 501st trooper.
If I can score two more troopers, I will be completely done with the ROTS basic figure line.

« on: October 21, 2005, 01:43 PM »Heyguys, were these sitting on the shelves in the toy aisle like normal figures or somewhere else? Its just odd that these didn't show up on the big DVD palettes like the previous 3-pack exclusives.
I'm sure what happened is when they got them in, the stockers, who can't read which is why they work at Wal Mart, couldn't figure out what they were for, so they put them in the toy isle.
