Yeah, that's kinda what I figured :'(
I want to put some things out in the new place (to really make it feel like home), but it may be better/safer if I don't.

Man, what's the point of having a new place if I can't put at least some of my toys out.

Are there areas in the room/house that won't experience direct sunlight?  My previous post was based on your items being exposed directly to the light.  I just finished putting up my Sideshow Vader statue in the living room where there will obviously be lots of sunlight, but its in a corner where the sun won't beat down on it.  I'm assuming it will be safe and would think anything else would be too.

Depends on how the sun moves through the room during the day I suppose.  If you've placed it in an area with no sun ever, should be fine.

So you keep me company in suffering :)  Oh sure, you're stuff's already been boxed up for a long time, but you should be used to it by now.

Gentle Giant has updated their site, and listed this years con exclusives here.

As many people have predicted SDCC's Exclusive mini bust will be a Shocktrooper!

I hope this has at least a 5,000 edition run, if not I sense the Blue Clonetrooper bust fiasco all over again.

Excellent.  I see $5-10 pricing not too far in the future.

The depressing news is I want both the shocktrooper and the Mara Jade busts. :-\  Now if that sentence isn't set up for out of context, I don't know what is. :P

Mara Jade is exclusive?  And at "Gen Con" of all places... wow.  Bound to be some EU folks ticked off over that particular move.

Well, given GG's exclusives history, there were bound to be a pile of unhappy collectors anyway.   :P

I wonder what the edition size will be.  I guess I'm getting a 4-day pass to Comic Con now.

Mara Jade's an exclusive?  ugh.  That doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I have a feeling nearly everyone is going to agree that having Mara Jade as an exclusive, especially for Gen Con Indy, is not going to go over well.   ::)

Well this is disappointing, but to be expected. I'll be #2 on that list that is looking for the Mara Bust. I'm sure these busts will be at least a 2500 run since it seems that most of their other exclusives since the Blue Clone have this same number run. The funny thing about it is that even if it did have a 5000 run the price would still be shooting through the roof! Well hopefully they'll be making some of these available online like they've done with some of the other exclusives. That should cut down on the number of pissed off customers who can't make it out to SDCC.

I wonder what the edition size will be. I guess I'm getting a 4-day pass to Comic Con now.

I might have to do that as well :-\.

Have any of you guys ever ordered from Action Figure Xpress? I just saw that they posted up their case pre-order for the upcoming ROTS Clone Busts. Not a bad price, works out to about $52.25 before shipping. They're showing the case breakdown at 3x White, 2x 501st and 1x Utapau.

Ray - I know a couple of people who've bought stuff from them. No complaints as far as I know. I'd go in on a case with ya but we'd have to flip for the Utapau Clone Bust  ;D

edit:
Here's a link to a cheaper case it comes down to 43.99 a piece.
