I'm pretty sure the quote you're referencing said something about them putting a few things together. You can interpret that to mean it will be a bunch of little things, or you can interpret that to mean they're arranging things.
Unless you're referring to a quote that I missed.
Talked to GG directly at CIV and was told poink blank that it was "a combination of small things." I was trying to get info about the PG gift and I asked specifically if it was a mini-bust and was told no.

Well, we both agree on one thing - GG's site sucked. I missed out on the BHS due to the site crashing, so I know what you're saying. But I was able to score the rest of the exclusives. There will always be a few that you miss, even if you're on the ball.
There are people who are 9 for 9 due to the raffles and some that are 0 for 9. Keep in mind that they all paid $50. I'd rather miss something due to my connection being too slow, or GG's server crashing, or maybe just having something better to do that day and missing it than some GG Rock Star not pulling my name out of a hat. AND I get to keep my $50.

A few things:
The "Free" PG gift is not going to be a mini-bust. It's going to be "a combination of small things" according to GG.
From what I gather, the people who LIKE paying $50 for the raffles better than the free collectors club last year are the ones who never scored any exclusives the old way due to them not being on the ball. These guys don't get near a computer all day, don't have any friends who collect that can place an order for them, no family members to help...they're "collectors" who didn't take the necessary steps to score this stuff. Now they "win" one or two raffles and they are singing the praises of the premium guild. Makes me laugh.

Heads up: Received my AOTC Clone Trooper 4-packs today from SWS. Out of four clean sets and four dirty sets: NO VARIANT. Also, nothing is printed anywhere on the packaging about a variant.

Puente Hills Mall Ray. I checked Arcadia HT today and no dice.
I got a clearanced Blue Snag bust-up from Arcadia HT back in November.

Thanks for the information. I preordered my set from my comic guy so they should arrive soon. Any word on the chase pieces yet? Seems the trend has been for one pretty easy, one absurdly hard (for most of us).

It looks like the chase pieces are the Red and Blue ARCs. I bought seven Clone Troopers and they were ALL white. Four were from the same case, so it looks like some cases are shipping all white troopers. The Blue seems to be easier to get than the Red, based on what I've heard. The Red is next to impossible to find.
Also, there is an all-white General Grievous (one per case) and a grey translucent Anakin (one in four cases). Crazy.

Middle Earth / BALROG is here.

Okay, just got home (Burbank, CA) and saw the Balrog sitting on my front step.
It comes in a HUGE brown box that says, "NECA 25" Balrog Electronic Action Figure" on the side. I opened the box up, and the Balrog is packaged in many different sections inside. There's no retail packaging aside from the plain brown box it comes in...so there's definitely no chance of seeing this at stores like Suncoast, etc.
I didn't realize he was going to come completely disassembled. It looks cool from what I can tell. Need to clear a space in the collecting room so I can lay all the pieces out and put him together later.
According to the box, I received #2071 of 2400.
