On first inspection I thought Dengar and Luke had the same blaster, just painted slightly different. On closer inspection, they're actually different sculpts.

I like the way the hands are sculpted on the Dengar figure, they make for really good poses holding the rifle. I'd be really pleased to see this feature on some rebel soldiers at some point.

I picked this up on friday and I really like it.

The OTC pilots fit in fine. I was surprised by the side missiles, I thought they were going to pull out like the ones on Grievous's fighter, but as it turns out the pods just slide in towards the middle revealing them. The fold out diorama it comes with, is actually very nice as well.

Snow speeder, cloud car, Han, Leia, Luke, Threepio, Dak and Dengar from Toys R Us Uk.

I'm surprised how much I like the Threepio.

It's very easy to get him standing with the middle wires showing.
The removable panels snap into place really tightly.
The head isn't ball joint but is completely removable.
The lower silver leg also comes out really easily, it's a shame the gold one doesn't as that's the one he's holding near the end of ESB.
The open right hand makes for great " Over here ! " poses
There is detailed wiring on his palms.

My main beef would be that he seems a little short and the color is a little off.

The Luke is excellent and for those of you who are curious, the head fits perfectly on snow speeder Luke. His right hand comes off easy and the old medical tourniquet fits on fine. I think he entered my top five figures of all time.

Sorry I don't have photos!

That's gotta be on purpose, thanks for sharing that snivit with us BUtP.  Kind of neat to know.  He does rifle around for it in there anyway, so it makes sense to make a home for it in the cockpit.

My sister always thought he was trying to drag Dak out!

You clip the end of the strap to the side of the gun and then put it in business end first (minus the hook). I suppose it could always be a cup holder in case they stop for a slush puppy...

It's really easy to get Dak's hands on the controls, but getting the sticker on the gunning console was like trying to pull the ears off a gundark.

Sorry I don't have pictures, I'm having camera issues.

I picked this up on friday, in a UK Toys R Us and I'm really pleased with it.  The sculpt is really clean, and the transparency of the windows is really good, giving a nice view of your pilots inside.

The two sets of weapons are easy to swap out.

The cockpit is really cool, and I don't know whether it's on purpose, but there's a spot where Luke's grapple gun can fit.

Picked up six of this wave, a cloud car and a snowspeeder. Really impressed with all of them.

I have to admit, I'm definitely heading for the guano state of mind Mcmetal.

The thing that's driving me nuts is wondering what's going to be left by the time I get there. This wave is full of big names that parents recognize.

84
Looks like these have hit Toys R Us here in the UK, with a little luck I'll get my mitts on some of them tonight after work.

I've picked up three so far, I don't want to go too crazy in case they release some new onscreen head sculpts.

I found the Commander Faie from the legacy's head works pretty good, seeing as I only picked it up for a BAD piece it's nice to get some use out of him.

For want of anything new to buy, I seem to have ended up collecting Bespin guards and performing head and hand swaps. Has anybody else been doing this?

The alien has yet to hit the Uk so I've just been buying up the first version.

I think I'm going to feel like I've come full circle when I pick up this peasant Anakin. I got the original version as a joke present for my birthday one year and it ended up launching me into collecting the modern line.

I don't know about you guys but my buying of upgraded figures depends on a couple of things,

First, does the resculpt actually look good. When I saw the revamped Cody at the toy fair, I thought I had to have one, but then I saw the mass production version and it just didn't look that great to me so I ended up passing.

Second, is how much I like the character or design of the character.  For example, I also passed on the legacy Agen Kolar,  I figured the one I had, was good enough. If I'd been a major Kolar fan ( I'm sure he has some!) it would have been a different story, because all they have to do is resculpt Chewbacca's noggin and I'm picking one up before I know it.
