Toy Fair begins this weekend - anyone hoping/expecting any particular surprises?
Hasbro's "Entertainment Brand Preview Event for Fan Media" is Saturday February 16th 1:30-5:30pm ET.

All I want from this line, especially if it's getting walked back... is Sim Aloo.
Bonus if they did a 3-pack with the other unmade dignitaries.
Double bonus if they did a fresh 5-pack with all of them.
Quadruple bonus if they reveal Tonnika Sisters.
I'd be over the moon for any never-before-made OT figure.

I would like to see a preview of some Wave 2 Resistance figures or some ships from the show.
I'd love to hear more info on possible Clone Wars toys too...

In part because it would mean the reports of no more non-vintage collection 3.75 until episode 9 aren’t true, and partially because I don’t want such a small run for a given movie or show.

Since the TIE Defender got featured in the REBELS series, I would think it stands a greater chance than it did before. But Hasbro has likely shifted their focus to the current film and tv projects. The TIE variant I'm hoping for is the TIE RB (or TIE Brute) from SOLO. That was a really cool new take on a TIE fighter!
As for anything else?
VEHICLES - I *THINK* we're going to see a vehicle for the RESISTANCE line and some more figures. As for TVC? There are the rumors of a couple of vehicles, and it sounds like there's an X-wing and possibly a reissue of the Skiff.
FIGURES - We got so much information about the TVC line that I don't know what Hasbro can tell us that would be surprising. Wave 4 is shipping and we know the character lineups for waves 5 and 6. The big reveals would seem to be for the retail and convention exclusives.
The only significant surprise that I'm hoping for is for Hasbro to have some prototype figures for the return of CLONE WARS as the return of that series is coming this fall.

Kind of expecting them to announce TVC will be exclusive to Hasbro Pulse and the Disney Store, since Target and Wally are useless.

I see that SW.com announced Triple Force Friday (https://www.jedidefender.com/yabbse/index.php/topic,24894.0.html), so now I'm hoping we get a tease of 3.75" TVC The Mandalorian figure(s) at Toy Fair - probably a long shot, but I'd guess we have a better shot at seeing these than the Ep9 stuff.

YF originally teased it as a repaint I thought so new is a nice possible surprise. Read the comments below the story as there is more revealed by Jaysonnin there.

Re: New Skiff (speculated.) Pack-in figures have gone by the way-side, save for yak-face, but it would be nice for a new skiff to include one of the yet-to-be done skiff guards/driver.
Re: Kenner styled figures, once again I'm in the minority. I'm kind of excited about these, mainly because I love displaying my vintage figures, but I haven't over the last several years because of fear of the figures being light-damaged. This line might actually make me dump my 6 inch black series figures.

Some of that info definitely needs some clarification. Live tweeting can only be so accurate when a presentation is really moving.
Obviously there's going to be an image dump from Hasbro. And photos from the showroom will probably start coming out in an hour or so.

The Skiff Guards 3-pack can be pre-ordered from EE and Dorkside right now, so I don't think it's a WalMart exclusive - maybe an exclusive to Walmart in that it won't be showing up at Target?
I'm hoping the Jabba's palace set is also easy to preorder and not haunt WalMarts for.
Why did they give WalMart more exclusives after how badly they handled the Rey and Mimban Stormtrooper AND the Black Series before TVC came back?!?!?!
