You guys are killing me with all of the cute pups :(  It was so weird to come home tonite and not have Hannah here.  I love Keeper -- what a cutie!  When the kids get bigger when plan on getting a Golden. :)

I'm heatbroken.  Had to give away Hannah, my pug of 12 years today :'(  I have had her since she was a puppy and for a long time it was just me and her.  It was a hard decision to make.  She is getting old, my soon to be 4 year old was very rough with her,
I'm being evaluated for MS and my hubby is recovering from back surgery.  The poor dog was spending her days in her little cage.  The people who took her plan to spoil her to death (literally and figuratively).  I know it was best for Hannah-Banana, but it was so hard to watch her go :-\

My best friend broke her nose doing the Flyin' Hawaiian.  :o  She had the trashcan between her knees, passed out and hit the bathtub on her way down.  Now this was a 38 year old woman with 3 teenaged kids.  I swear it was her and not me.

My puking wasn't anything as fun as everyone else's.  The last time I puked was in March.  I got menengitis from a spinal tap and couldn't stop puking my guts out.  The only thing that stopped it was an IV of Phenegran in the ER (great stuff -- makes you loopy as h*ll 8)).   Before that the last time I puked was most of last year while I was pregnant with my baby girl.  Though the results were well worth the effort on that one :)

Back in the day we used to practice the art of beerlimia -- drink -- puke some of it -- and keep drinking.  Especially when it was $.25 draft night -- couldn't waste that opportunity!

Getting any better these days, Justin?

Mine's not so much.  Maybe about 5 hours a night for me, which totally blows.  I need about twice that much, probably...  :-\
Here's what ya do -- get yourself one or two of those cute little babies to stay up half the night with you to keep you company ;D  Or better yet.  They can get you up every couple of hours -- just as you've finally drifted off to sleep from the last go 'round........... : ;)

I am so sorry to hear that sweetie.  :'(   God works miracles everyday -- perhaps these new drugs will be His miracle in you :)  I will continue to keep you in my prayers.  Even though I haven't met you (us chicks on JD seem to be few and far between ;)) I think about you often.  PM if you ever need to talk mommy to mommy.  I know it must be hard -- but keep digging girl! ;D

Star Wars -- A Musical Journey   bonus disc on ROTS soundtrack.  Like to have it on in the background.  My little boy loves to watch it.

I may be biting off more than I can chew here -- but here goes. :-\  I don't collect -- but I've noticed that you guys don't seem to have a NC connection.  If you don't bombard me with too much stuff, and if you're very specific as to what you're looking for I can keep an eye out for hard to finds.  I frequent WM, Target and TRU on a regular basis.  Just PM me and I will see what I can do.  As long as it doesn't get out of hand I will be more than happy to help you guys out if you're having a hard time finding something special. :)

Any word on if Jeff's car will be sold as a toy?  Or whatever they call those cars in the stores.
I know its been awhile since you posted this -- but we've been looking around for SW cars for our son -- www.goracing.com has all of the SW cars -- including the one Gordon won with. 8)

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: Parallels between the PT and the OT
« on: August 20, 2005, 07:52 PM »
I, for one, always liked the similarities from Eps II and IV that occur at the Lars' Homestead.  When Luke returns to find his family slaughtered and when Anakin leaves to search for his mother the symbolisim of the same music and both of them standing in front of the same doorway.  I like the parallels it draws -- its the moment I always felt Luke turns a corner from a whiney kid and starts his journey towards becomming a man and a Jedi & the moment Anakin turns a corner from a whiney kid to becomming a man with a much darker persona.
