Congrats, Jay! I just received my notice and was shocked to find out that I won as well. That makes me 2 for 3 (Fett & Vader). Feeling pretty lucky since those were the only two I wanted  .

That's probably the tissue paper that the bust was packed in.  That has definitely been an issue with some pieces, and seems to have been limited to early releases.  It seems to be a case of the tissue paper being applied while the paint may not have been completely dried.

Hit the nail on the head here. My Biker Scout bust doesn't have any white residue on the hands but do have another bust with this same issue. I bought it brand new and when I opened it the paper was definitely adhered to the paint. Luckily it was on the base and towards the back of the bust.

I broke down and ordered a Boba Fett from New Force Comics a few weeks ago and it arrived today.  I absolutely love this piece.  The only drawback was that one of his braids (the blonde one) had broken off somewhere along the lines.  It wasn't any fault of NFC and probably happened in transit, but still... 

Anyone know of a good adhesive to "fix" this break that won't leave a mess or damage the piece's appearance?

You could use liquid super glue. Just apply a little dab and hold in place with some pressure. I've fixed a could of pieces this way. I would try to exchange it with NFC first though. I would imagine they have some kind of exchange or something for damaged products.

I just joined myself. I'm a little disappointed to see you don't get an invoice or e-mail receipt or anything when you submit your info . I'm assuming that the gift will be a bust but we'll see. GG is always full of surprises...
