« on: February 22, 2020, 04:38 PM »A 6” scale snowspeeder seems like it’s within the realm of possibility. And a pack-in Dak Ralter is a cool bonus, too. And IIRC there has been a rumor circulating about a 6” Snowspeeder pilot Luke Skywatcher, too.
I've backed away from the 6 inch line. But, I have to have that snow speeder. Looks fantastic!

Well, Power Droid and Luke confirmed!
Power Droid looks pretty decent. The card better be the vintage card.

Doing some math. Power droid is VC167. Luke is VC175. With Chirrut, Hondo, Stormtrooper Luke and the Airborne Trooper (if confirmed,) that leaves 4 more on the way.

I have mixed feelings as well. There's little doubt that Disney stifles Hasbro's innovation potential. You'd think with all the smart people around that a better balance could be found between production and sales potential.

As long as the Power Droid is a straight original 92 release, I'll be happy.
Although it would be annoying, I'd be very happy to have the Luke Stormtrooper on the RO Stormtrooper body with the appropriate belt. I'd buy a bunch.
The rest will just fine. Especially knocking off a proper carded Jedi Luke.

Same. But, I can see a limited announcement with holding more for Comic-Con and Celebration afterwards.

I'm assuming it's right, and that the tan/orange one and red one are two different droids and not just poorly colored photographs of the same one...

When the Droid Factory stuff was released, Disney went on record saying that certain Star Wars merchandise created for Disney Parks was primarily intended to offer experiences/shopping you can’t find anywhere outside Disney Parks. When you go there on vacation, they want you to find stuff in the Parks that you've never seen before - can't do that if all the stuff in the park is the same as the stuff in your local Disney Store.
Some stuff does eventually make it on-line or out to Disney Stores, but not everything will. Disney has said that most of the Galaxy Edge stuff will stay in that park for the experience for quite some time.

I'd much rather be able to walk into a store and buy these. However, at the same time, I accomplish more during the day avoiding toy runs.
