Sunday's loss was a tough thats for sure.  We shall see what happens Tuesday if the Suns can pull the game off at home we still have a series.  Yes, I am being optomistic  ;D.

Do you guys think $279.99 is too much for both chase Fetts and an original Fett?

I am contemplating trying to scoop this up today but could not find completed auctions with both chase Fetts to determine if this is the going price.

JediMac,

Where art though???

Suns baby.  I was invited to last nights game by a friend from work, first ever playoff game.  What a rush.

Every time Nash went to the line the crowd chanted MVP...MVP.

Every and I mean every time Kobe got the ball the boo's in the stadium was unreal.  Playoff basketball is awesome  :o.

I was so jazzed, I realized that I am a Suns insider and get an e-mail with a password to purchase tickets two hour prior to the general public.  So guess what...I logged in to Ticketmaster at 10:00 AM this morning, entered my password, and now am the owner of x4 tickets to game 5 on Tuesday night!

We have a series...

Bored at lunch today...walking around Costco I noticed some FX lightsabers.  They had about 20 Anakins in and 2 Vaders.

Picked up a Vader for $79.99

Check your local Costco, if you are interested.

Well, it's out of the range I'm willing to pay for a ripped cape.  $183.50 with 20+ minutes to go.  If I spend more than that it would have to have the nob less jawa blaster and not have a ripped cape...

My wife was a bit dissapointed and offered to contribute but like I said I'd want the condition to be top notch.  The hunt for a vc jawa continues...

Sounds real to me.  I'm not the right guy to ask though.

I think the way he's structured the auction, with the pics and relatively poor description you should be able to get a decent price, in the $150-175 range, which is still a bargain IMO.  My price was phenomenal and I totally lucked out it was real.

Well...

I stopped at the store on the way home, I did not want to fight traffic and come home first so I have no pictures.

My verdict is that it is authentic...all the signs were there.

1) One side was textured (zipping sound) on the inside, the other side flat
2) Color
3) Size
4) Fit
5) Texture

Has anyone heard of a fake meeting criteria #1 and still being a fake or is that real determinator?

No dice on selling it early, which I respect.  So I'll come up with a dollar amount I'm willing to pay and keep my fingers crossed.  It's hard for me  to pay a premium and it not be minty mint.

I'm hopeful that it does not go too high as the pic's are not too detailed and the description is less to be desired.  If I did not see the figure up close I would not bid on it with such a vague description and average pictures.

Thanks guys for the info and I'll let you know if I win.

Just for kicks, what do you think the auction will end at?

Thanks for the feedback, Brent.  PM me what would be a good deal for the piece as the seller wrote me back so I'm off to see it tomorrow.  Off to do research now on fakees...

Hello
yes you can come down and see it please. My phone is XXX-XXX-XXXX. I am at a show this morning will be in after 1. I am located on power rd just south of southern.
Jeff

Hey Matt,
Nope, those pics aren't much help.
I'd love to see it beside a Ben cape for comparison and see if it matches too well.  Also can't see the texture differences at all.

The length looks right though, at least at the bottom and it doesn't look to be cut, or if it is it's cut pretty well.  The collar size looks ok too.

The arm holes look nice and tight from what I can see on it, so that may be a good sign.

I'll let the real experts decide though.  Getting a close up look to see/feel the texture and if you brought an Obi with you would give you a real good idea for color.  Good feedback on the seller too.  Good luck.

Hey, fellas long time no post...

I am in the process of refinancing my home since it has a lot of equity in it.  Will have some funds to complete some loose holes in the collection.

What do you guys think of this auction?  This guy resides in my same town and I asked all the typical quesitons and asked if I could come down and look at the piece.

You probably can't tell much from the pics...

JoshEEE,

FREE!!!

They even replaced that foam square by the mirror, as my local photo store had to special order it and they were going to charge me to clean everything out.

I wrote a professional letter and I just paid for shipping to the CA repair center - Canon covered the costs to ship the camera back to me.

Thanks for the compliment Josh.  The 17-85 IS is highly touted and was a lens I was seriously considering.  Too pricey for me at the time and I really wanted the extra length.

All my shots accept the first two were using that telephoto.  Earth Wind and Fire was at night about 75-100 yards away.

Too ad to what Brent mentioned about dust.  I did get dust in my camera and freaked out and tried cleaning the inside with a tissue  :o.  It made an absolute mess inside - tissue particles stuck to the square foam area by the mirror.

Canon was very good about it and I sent the camera in and had it back in a week cleaned (CMOS) as well.
