Yes, you're right, Subspecies 4 was available, as was Vampire Journals (unofficially Subspeceis 5, I believe) but the others - the "good" ones, if you will - have never been available in the U.S. on DVD.

Subspecies Box Set is on sale starting tomorrow, available only at the website, and  limited to 500 copies for U.S. distribution. These are actually coming out in Austrailia, but they are putting 500 on sale for the U.S.

These are some really classic Vampire/Horror flicks, and this is the first time that a "real" copy will be available in the U.S.  It will be nice to retire my bootlegs.

I can't wait.

Originally, Padme was solicited just like all the others, through Diamond Comics and GG direct. Somewhere along the way, it was changed over to a SWS.com exclusive. A buddy of mine owns a comic shop, and gets me all my GG stuff, and I had no idea they had switched it over to an exclusive. Then one day I find out AFTER it had sold  out and started shipping, and was too late. No way I'm paying $500 for it on ebay now.

The only thing I hope they are wrong about is the part about it possibly being a WalMart exclusive. Man, I hate WalMart. The employees in the stores near me are totally clueless about stuff like this. Even managers. They look at me like I've got three heads when I ask about stuff like the twins sets or the Animated figure packs.

Idiots.

If these unleashed are exclusives, I've got about a .000014% chance of finding them at retail. I guess there must be a few people at WalMart that know what "exclusives" are, and what that means to ebay.
