CV - Hasbro Report AT ST set with 2 Snowtroopers, Vader and Driver .... Wave 3 packs include a new Luke and Darth Vader, Senate Commando & Aqua Battle Droid and Training Clone and Sgt Bric plus one 2 pack they can't reveal.
That stinks. I'm sure we were driving this line for a good portion, but I guess not anymore.
Saw the new CW 2packs at Kohl's today - will have to cave on Bane/Aurra at some point.

SSG: Now that you've made Galactic Heroes figures of Max Rebo and Droopy McCool, there is a hole in the band. Why did Sy Snootles get left out of the set? Might Hasbro consider rounding out the original trio of palace band members by making a Sy Snootles Galactic Heroes figure? She would go great in a 2 pack with any of Jabba's more prominent minions (Tessek, Ephant Mon, or Ree-Yees for instance) or perhaps Oola or cloak-wearing Luke. Seeing as these more obscure Galactic Heroes figures are fan-driven, if you were to make a Sy figure would it be based on her classic "vintage" appearance?
Hasbro: We have no plans to make a Sy Snootles or some of the other figures. Galactic Heroes seems to be overwhelmingly kid-driven, and aside from a few 2-packs with relatively obscure characters later this year, we'll be sticking to known and recognized characters going forward.
Thanks for posting those. It is good to hear that even though the Cinema Scenes are being put on hiatus, that doesn't necessarily mean the end of vehicles. I'd like to see a few more (specifically from the OT), like a TIE fighter, AT-ST, etc.
Yoda's News: With the Galactic Heroes Cinema Scenes being put "on hold" will we still see the Purchase of the Droids and Kamino set?
Hasbro: Yes, they got pushed out due to Toys 'R Us asking for a re-release of some of their previous Cinema Scenes. We are back on track, and these will be coming later this Spring to Toys 'R Us.
Jedi News UK: We're sorry to see the Galactic Heroes Cinema Scenes go. What does this mean for Galactic Heroes in terms of future vehicles and additional figures - will we continue to see vehicles or will the 2 packs be the only outlet for Galactic Heroes moving forward (and will we see all four Republic Commandos as Galactic Heroes) and finally, are we likely to see a return to the Cinema Scenes sometime in the future?
Hasbro: Something had to give way to make room for the Galactic Heroes AT-AT, so it was decided to put the Cinema Scenes on hiatus as a mainline offering. There still may be exclusive Cinema Scenes here and there to take advantage of the cool vehicle library we have built up. As for the other Commandos, we hope that they will find their way into the lineup at some point, but it won't be for a while if so.
Raving Toy Maniac: Does the Galactic Heroes AT-AT's head open to allow access to figures? If so, how many figures?
Hasbro: Yes, the head will open to fit one figure.
There's some great new 2-packs coming too. Aurra Sing, Cad Bane, Snow Bunny Padme and the Commandos look awesome.

("Rocket" from Little Einsteins, by FP)Ya these things are like pulling teeth for me if/when I finally decide a purchase is warrented. I got the blue AAT which I've only seen at retail twice and the Magnaguardfighter as of the last few months. Wish this line would just go away personally. Obviously there's only 2 people on this site that collect these so that has to tell you something. I don't even transform these things - just using the crossover line to make up for the lack of Action Fleet.
I just toss all of the boxes immediately. I don't really feel any need to save them, although some are kind of cute. They just take up too much space. I know this is a contentious issue, but I don't see how you can really enjoy them without opening them up. Just my opinion.
