Post by: JayDouble on July 25, 2005, 01:14 AM
I was cleaning out the garage and discovered these:

Does anyone have any info on these?

All I remember is that they were sold through the Fan Club.  I got a Fett

Son of a bitch, I wish I had gotten one of those.

Yeah, that was a FC/shopsw item.

I actually LOVED everything about these and absolutely had to get a set.  They are very nice pieces and somewhat of a "sleeper" item IMO.  They are very heavy, I beleive handpainted.  Display VERY well.  They actually kind of have an older "antique" look to them.  All 3 are great, really like the Fett.

Limited out of only about 4,000 sets, and I'm sure some only picked out the one/ones they wanted, so you have to figure there are far fewer complete sets out there.

I have a set of these,  they are very cool. They were $25 each from the FC a few years back. There are supposed to be some ROTS one's from Cards Inc in the UK, I do believe.

I could've sworn we had a thread with some more info on these a while back (from DaBigKahuna, I think), but I can't find it for the life of me.  (which I'm sure Jay probably looked for too)

Anyway, yeah, I nabbed that set from the Fan Club a while back too.  Can't recall when it was now, but I'd guess about 4 or 5 years ago.  $25 each sounds right.  Oddly enough, I've never even opened mine up yet.  But I was equally excited when I rediscovered them in my storage unit earlier this year.  Cool suckers, they are.  Much nicer than some of the recent cheapo ones that have come out lately.

Nice find, Jay!  8)
