it's up in mass...i picked mine up at emerald square mall (3rd floor). the display was up front (if you are exiting the store it will be on the left side in front of the south park toys). they had plenty when i when in. i don't know how long they'll last at that price. alot of people that were coming in were playing with the sample model when i originally walked in...

don't know if anybody posted but i saw MR force FX sabers @ spencers gifts  today for $59.99. the only ones that they had in stock were the Darth Vader episode V sabers. thought it was a decent price...and could be a possible stocking stuffer idea for someone on the boards. hope it helps...

still, it's very cool to see pics of series 7. i like all the regs and chases in this set. i'm hoping that medicom holds off on the prequel kubs and finishes the OT correctly. i don't mind the senate guard though...

MLB 17 pics are up at Spawn now. Really like the Nomar Cano pose, and the Rolen Chavez isn't shabby either. Kind of a weak series overall.

i was about to say, they look like all re-used poses with a different head....i'll still pick up beckett though...

I think we are pretty safe reguarding re-releases.
I can`t really think of any Kubricks that were re-released.
They did the paint deco change up to the Marvel kubs for boxed sets, and the Batman boxset also. But they were specifically for the US market, I just don`t see it
happening with SW.

your right. i just wanted to throw the idea out there fully knowing there would be alot of resistance against that. hell, i own a imperial officer and i fully know that any kind of releases would kill the value. the main problem at least for me was how hard it was to get into the line initially as a brand new collector with the end of series 4 and into series 5. now imagining getting into a SW line without some of the main characters like chewy and r2d2. i'm not talking about background characters...i'm talking about main characters itself. it was interesting to see the replies though....i was beginning to think that this thread was slowly drifting off a bit....

I hate to say it...but why doesn't Kubrick rerelease some of their figures...especially army builders. it's frustrating as a Kubrick collector (getting into the line late) to really get into the line as it is as some of the main characters (Chewbacca & R2D2) were only released in an early bird set instead of in a main line. Earlier army builder figs (Tusken & AT-AT were released one per box as was the more recent Rebel Trooper). Imagine a 5-pack of Stormtroopers or Tusken Raiders packaged similar to the TRU exclusive sets. Die-hard Kubrick fans would love it as you could army build, new collectors are always intrigued with sets like these and could spark more interest into the line.

Saw the Pats 3 packs this evening at TRU. Was hoping that they would have the Steelers one but the Pats was the only one that had.  :-\

lucky!! hopefully, we get the 3 packs in shortly over here. doubtful, that i'll see the pats 3 pack around these parts (i don't live too far from gillette stadium)...but anythings possible, i saw plenty of the red sox 3 packs over the summer...

For anyone that needs the 2nd set of Deions, they're up at the Spawn Store.

Some of the clamshells have minor wear so all of these figures will be sold AS IS and no returns will be accepted. We are also limiting the purchase to two of each figure per household.

saw that earlier. thanks for the heads up. i'm gonna pass on those considering i already have the rice/deion 2 pack already. good luck to everybody getting those deions though!!

Well, I slapped some sense into myself before I got carried away, and cancelled the Kubys. As much as I miss these badboys, the prospect of getting back into them and re-obsessing has pushed me away. Im sure many of you remember my completist habits. Simply too expensive to play catchup at this time.

I find myself in the same boat as you. I think I came aboard much too late to get into this line and frankly, I don't have the money for the exclusives too. Instead, I think I'm going to put my money towards some higher end SW collectibles like the PF line. I already started with Princess Leia. I'll probably pick up the Vader and Ben. My intention is to set up a movie room in the basement much like what Gruson has set-up (if you have ever seen his pics in the Sideshow 1/4 statue thread).

Just thinking about shelling out over $100 bucks for sets of series 1 & 2 sends shivers down my spine. I remember showing my wife how much the chase figures go on the bay. She threatened to send me packing if I ever spent $100 on a single kubrick. It made sense though, as cool as they are...to me for a 2" inch figure there are so many other things I can get. I'll probably pick up future SW figures in the line here and there (ex. series 7)...but not to the level I was once at...I'm just going to concentrate about picking up just a few more PF figs to tide me over and I think thats gonna be all for me, as well as far as my future in collecting.

i used to only collect chases and found many at retail. chases don't do anything for me anymore. they are hard to get at first but after a few series i notice that some of these impossible figures are easily obtainable. now, i only collect players from my favorite teams. leaves more cash in my wallet that way considering i always bought players from my favorite teams anyways...

I don't even think the Yankees would've even been in the playoffs had the Sox looked like a MASH unit in the second half of the year. Sox had to rely on almost all rookies and scraps to get the job done in the second half. Almost every player went down with an injury at one point...between David Ortiz's irregular heartbeat and pitcher Jon Lester fighting cancer, there isn't one team in the league that could've fought through that...Yankees included. The problem is that the injuries mounted immediately after the trade deadline where Varitek and Nixon where the first to fall to the injury bug and everything got worse from there...we also saw injuries to Wily Mo, Coco, Manny, Papelbon, Wakefield, Timlin, Loretta, Gonzalez, Lowell, Youk, etc...
