We keep hearing in the Q & A how long it takes to get these things lined up, made, and on the shelf.
What we are witnessing is not a competetion, it is a prelude to a forgone conclusion. Hasbro knows the results, because the figures must already be set for production. It is just a matter of making it all work that way before it is over.
This is an exercise in creating a buzz, and giving RS a feather in its' cap so it can claim to "represent the fandom" whatever the h*** that is.
No matter what they make, some will be happy others outraged. Some will buy them all, some will buy a few, and some will see the pegs clogged with them and walk away.
