Seems to me that there are a number of "well, they hate me under that name so here's a new name" types in there too.  Anyone else pick up on those idiots?
What...?

When you mentioned Dante were you specifically talking about my dog or were you talking about everyone's favorite poet Dante Alighieri?

Thanks!

I'm still a little confused as to whether or not this thread referenced him directly, or if someone else just happened to connect him to a mention of the poet - and why someone would be using the little guy's picture - beyond the obvious fact that he's adorable.

It's a dungheap. Wouldn't be so bad if the dungposts were confined to Wuher's, but a couple kids insist on spamming all the figure sections with 2 or 3-word posts ever 30 seconds. It gets to be unreadable. I got myself banned for calling the lead retard, Yoda_Boi, a piece of ****.

They banned you too eh?

I'm apparently on thin ice now...  so I'm being nice.

I thought you were a mod there. What did you do?

Probably badmouth Rebelscum over here.

Also, there was a running joke for 20 minutes that I was Carpeteria's dad - in a nonsense thread I made to make fun of two other nonsense threads.

All in all - not very much.

The string title was a veiled reference to the seven planes of Hell as detailed in the inferno..

Not saying the Wuhers reminds of that...
..or maybe it does..

but all in all..he looks like a nice doggy.

Okay, so now the question is am I gonna get some royalties for use of my dog's image.   8)

Dante Alighieri did infact predict Wuher's -Canto 80 something.  It was somewhere in the 8th circle between the Evil Counselors and the Sowers of Dischord I think.

I gotta dig, but I find a good thread now and again.  I try to be helpful in the customizing area for new people asking Q's too, but that becomes increasingly harder as more of the "kiddies" come in.

Why go?  Eh, good question if it's one you've posed to yourself...  There's better places.  *cough cough*

Yeah, some guy named JesseJames helped me with some questions regarding knee joints this past week.  He seems like a helpful, nice guy.

Ah yes, the umpteenth "Wuher's is deteriorating" thread.  I've grown used to seeing these about once a month.  Personally, I don't think it's deteriorating.  It's just not getting any better.  It was for awhile, but now it's kind of settling back into the groove.

Someone bumped THIS  thread the other day, and before it was locked.....I thought it was pretty funny. It basically complains about the same stuff going on today, but was floating around over a year ago. I can see that I was feeling pretty annoyed by the place and all the post padding.  These days, I just ignore that aspect of it (to the best of my abilities).

I've tried to just sit back and enjoy the ride. I still really like that site, it's still a great place to hang out. I can deal with the occasional speed bump (or a certain new moderator who'd love nothing more than to see me gone). In the end, those few bad things don't outweigh the good.

It's sort of like going downtown.  Sure, you have to put up with the occasional criminal or degenerate who might try to ruin your evening.....but for the most part, all the best stuff is still downtown.  ;D
