Title: Canadian ROTJ torn carded figures?

I think I read somewhere about Canadian ROTJ figures that were given away at a show in the 80's. All the cards were glued together only the figure showing, when you got one you had to pull it off the card behind it and causing a rip on the right side of the card. now I can't find the site, need some help please.

Was there any ROTJ  Canadian cards displayed at the show?
