Customizing astromechs has always been a problem with me.  I never like the end product but someday I will persist & try again.  Looks like a great effort, they can be tough to do.

I personally haven't casted any stormtroopers however The Scoundrel has done so with some nice results.  As far as the cost goes there are some kits available for reasonable cost.  I usually cast heads & hands & then use pre-existing bodies from other figures & sculpey to do my work.  I have used smooth on casting products and have gotten great results (haven't done it in awhile thought).

I agree with most of the replies as well.  Find an acrylic paint line that fits your needs the best.  I have used Apple Barrel, Tamaiya (expensive) & testors work really well.

Thats crazy, I live in Missoula MT of all places & there are about 25 of the tie bombers in stock.  They also seem to have new paint features of battle damage vs the POTJ ship.  Anyone else confirm this?

1.  Valance the Bounty Hunter #16
2.  Jaxxon (Lepus Carnivorus) #7 first appearance.
3.  Hedji, Heck the whole crew from issues 7 & 8.

Check Walmarts, the ones in my area are getting the more recent figures in pretty good quantities, you just have to hang in there.  My Target finally got the motherlode too with the accessory sets & the latest dlx saga sets.

The visual documentary you have going with your pod race diorama is very nice.  It is cool to see how much work goes into a big project behind the scenes so to speak.

I am new to these forums but I am also a veteran trader on the Rebelscum Listserv Tradelist so I can get you plenty of trade references from there plus I think there are a couple of people on this forum who would recognize me as well.  On to business....
I have a MIB AT-AT to trade and I am looking to get the TRU exclusive X-wing & new landspeeder w/ Luke.  I would like to trade the AT-AT for both, HOWEVER, if you don't feel that is enough contact me with what you are looking for because I have other stuff to trade.  Looking for some help here because where I live there isn't a TRU, (Missoula, MT).
