I like country mostly but rap, rock, and a few kinds of Louie Armstrong.

That's certainly an eclectic range of music tastes you've got there SBH, especially for a 12-year old!
I pretty much listen to (and collect) just about everything, aside from some of the "modern rock" stuff from the 90's to present... Favorite kind? I dunno... Probably classic rock, or Totally 80's! :D :P
-
I like Classical music. Bach, Beethoven etc...
Easy Rock & Movie Soundtracks.
-
Well, in my short life I have seemingly glommed on to "grunge"
Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden blah blah
I enjoy rock, rock and roll or rock and or roll but not all of it. Musicianship and a good hook will get me most of the time, a singer I can't understand will turn me off as will just a bunch of noise
I love Jazz, I played in college Jazz Bands, won some cool awards in my life and had a ball with most of the different styles. If I had to pick one style it would be the cool era...Miles, Mingus, Guiliardi, GEtz etc etc I am a huge fan of Funk though too, great stuff there
No thanks to Country, Western, Country Western, Rap, R&B, Pop, Alt-Pop
Classical is very cool too in a Clockwork Orange sort of way
And to end this ramble, the only good thing to come of Country Music is...

I stand corrected, Easy Rock. And alittle bit Counrty! ;D :-*
-
Heh, she really gets to you eh Dale? Can't even spell when you see her :P
For me, at least according to Columbia House:
Alternative (Sum41, Treble Charger, Faith no more)
Hard Rock (Krokus, Motorhead, Skid Row)
Classic Rock (Doors, Stones, old fogey stuff)
Rock (Pink FLoyd, Zeppelin, Boston)
Classical (Dvorak is current fave)
and yes, I'll listen to country though I'm not sure if watching videos (Shania, Faith, Chely Wright) with the sound off counts as listening ;)
-
I can spell, the keyboard can't. :P
Yes, she gets to me, better than Celine Dion. ;D
-
I mainly listen to electronica/electronic music. I like classic rock, but I despise college rock. I also despise most country music.
-
I enjoy a pretty wide range of music but my main interest would be metal and most forms of it. I also enjoy a lot of alternative music as well. Country music would have to rank at the bottom of my list.
-
I have a pretty big range, but only certain groups from those catagories. I like:
Christian music- Matt Redmond, Delerious?, Tree 63, LSU, Prayer Chain, East West, Adam Again.
Country music- Travis Tritt, John Micheal Montgomery, early Garth Brooks, Sawyer Brown.
Rock- Counting Crows, REM, U2, Lifehouse, GNR, Metalica, Pearl Jam(Ten album only), Clapton, Creedence, Mellencamp, Beetles, Pink Floyd...
I listen to alot of 80's and 90's mostly. I HATE rap, Techno, and "teeny-bob" music
-
A little bit of everything for me, focusing mainly on metal (as in Sepultura and Fear Factory, not nu-metal), punk and goth. I've recently gotten into Euro-pop/synth darkwave stuff like Apoptygma Berserk and Funkervogt, it's working for me at the moment. Love Tom Waits, Johnny Cash, David Bowie, hell- you name it. It's really too difficult to name names.
-
Oh yeah, Stompin' Tom Connors :P

Apoptygma Berserk is awesome. I especially like the song "Come Lie Next To Me." Good stuff. 8)
-
I mostly listen to death metal or speed metal like cannibal corpse, megadeath and slayer. Some punk also.
-
My music tastes run a wide range. I really only avoid rap but will listen to most anything. I guess it all depends on the mood I am in. The one group that always has a spot in my cd player is Metallica. other than that it can be Hank Jr. to Offspring,
-
EDIT from JediMAC: Just merging this up with our older "Favorite Music" thread here. Carry on! ;)
What kind of music do you like?
I like new age music, ambient-electronica, world/ethno, Celtic space music and related genres
-
Pretty much anything except mallcore, whiny emo bulls---, country, and some hip-hop/rap.
Classic-tinged rock like Pearl Jam is my fave, with stuff like Tool, Kiss, Dave Matthews Band, Metallica, and Sarah McLachlan too.
-
Disco, Dance, Indie... wait how the **** do these categories work again? I like music that is good.
-
according to Guzzlefish (http://www.guzzlefish.com/collection.php?username=ocb75&mediatype=C&category=MostCollectedMusicGenres#Grunge) (which isn't accurate at all because a large portion of titles are not put in a catagory)...
Grunge 22%
Alternative 19%
Hard Rock 6%
Singer/Songwriter 4%
Classical 3%
Classic Pop Vocals 2%
The grunge is skewed though thanks to the ownership of an obscene amount of Pearl Jam bootlegs
-
The focus of my music collection is mostly electronica, trance, techno, ambient, and trip hop. I also like retro, oldies, jazz, and classical music quite a bit. I listen to all kinds of music, for the exception of country, americana, and tejano.
-
hardcore / metal / punk rock / rock n' roll / 80's / classical / hip-hop (just a little)
