It's been a weird week.  Right now it's cloudy and steamy...yesterday cloudy, steamy, and sunny.  Tomorrow who knows?

It's been extremely wet this spring here in North Texas.  I hope the whole summer isn't like that or it will make playing softball miserable.  We got rained out/postponed in 4 of 8 games.  That sucked.

a few years ago that happened to the team i was on.  the denton league will cancel games for the slightest drizzle (which i guess is good cuz a slippery field can be a bitch), so we had to play 3 games in 1 night 2 weeks in a row.

Former Tropical Storm Barry has given us some much needed rainfall over the past 24 hours and has also pumped up some right enjoyable Atlantic air, with temperatures barely breaching 77 degrees yesterday.

Highs will again reach the 90s by the end of the upcoming week.  And what's worse, I've got a Youth Leadership conference that is primarily outdoors! Schieß mich jetzt ab, bitte.

Reading the online news Las Vegas is a wopping 116, very hot in places in the US.

It's 7:30pm locally and still sitting at 32 C (90 F).  I hate it when my balls are sweating at work.

Won't stop ******* raining.  Over the past 66 days we've had 46 days of rain.  We have large parts of North Texas that are flooding or on the verge.  Not a good situation for some. 

We needed the rain after a 3 year drought, but good lord.  Our average for a year is about 34.5" a year, we are well over 36" now and we are only half way through the year.

Nice up here today, clear & 32°C feels like 35°C. 

We still have the same temp today & hot for another week. Sunday will be 34°C & no break insite for days. I have the central air conditioning running, sure helps.

Been pretty hot here the past couple of days, highs hitting 33°C. It has cooled down a tad during the week but temps have been above 30°C for a couple of weeks & very dry.

Last night just after 12:30 am, I could see the sky flashing & hear the odd rumble. A few minutes later, flash crack! First words I said was holy crap, that was right above us. That was an erie sound that just went right through you, car alarms went off around the neighbourhood. Shook the place up quite a bit & our cats were just skaking & thier eyes were wide open.

Man, this electrical storm lasted almost an hour. Quite the special effects show, just to close to our 20th Black Friday anniversary. 

Another good chance of thunder boomers tonight.
