Opinion...

Looks good to me.  Good seller feedback and detail in the subject along with a return policy.  Act quick if you are going to as it probably will get snatched up soon.

As some of you know i still need a vinyl cape Jawa, this is a price i can deal with. Any one have any opinions on this one, help is appreciated.

Scott, Brent, DarkKnight2k4,

Thanks for the nice comments.  Regarding the home...really average for "our neck of the woods."  Wifey is super cool in letting me get the pool table and plasmas and keep 75% of the home "flower less".  Notice there is no pictures on the bedroom or both my boys rooms.  My kids rooms are a mess in my opinion and I stay out of there.

The bedroom has a flowery bedspread, chest and pictures :-X!  Good thing I spend most of my time sleeping in there.  Can you tell I'm not a big fan of flowery decorations.  I know...I'm spoiled and lucky.

Brent,

No more toys...trimming the collection down felt oh so good.  Try it it  ;D.  I did and used the dollars to get other toys  ???.

Brent - congrats on the fairly new home.  How is the basement coming along?  When can we expect some updated pictures of the collection if it has made it to see daylight.

Your welcome, just curious why the focus on Hammerhead?

The no eyes and white eyes could the paint have been removed or painted over?  Or legitimate errors from the assembly?

Thanks for the warm welcome 8)
here is the pics of my hammerheads hope you like them
anyone on here have any different ones for sale let me know cheers

First picture Left to right are: Eyes straight ahead no coo, 1 left 1 down HK, No eyes HK, white eyes HK, black eyes HK 8) 8)

Welcome to JD Mash - look forward to seeing some pictures from you.

Dale, the first time Luke blue saber I got three years ago failed that same scratch test!  Luckily, I got a refund with no problems so it was nice to finally get a legit one.  Mine is the Taiwan version.

Also, just as an FYI - I had a minty Jawa and was going to do the "switch a roo" and noticed that the v/c one was slighlty darker - actually my wife pointed it out and the trademarks were slightly larger in size.  A noticeable difference.

Nice pick ups!

Nice to see some posts in this vintage thread!

Brent, nice poster thanks for sharing.  Regarding your question, the Luke Jedi  was produced with either:

1. Head moulded in flesh-toned plastic with painted hair
2. Head moulded in light brown (the hair colour) with the face painted on.

I believe that #1 is a lot rarer than #2.  So I purchased #1 to have the harder to find of the two versions to pair up with the snap cape and blue saber.

Sure wish I would have jumped on these two years ago because both eluded me for a long time...

Darknight2k4,

Plain old cd cases.  Stacked with the center cd holder removed.  Cheap but efficient.

First...huge thanks to Dale for helping me nab this beauty...vinyl cape jawa.  Thanks again Dale, left you some positive feedback bud.  As you can see, he has found a happy home  :).

Second...snap cape Luke with blue saber and molded face.

Dale was thoughtful enough to help me track down the elusive vintage vinyl cape Jawa that has eluded my collection for some time.  Thanks Dale!

Thanks for the release list Dale.  I received My series 9 Amare regular variant and have series 10 Nash regular and variant en route.  At this point I only plan on picking my hometown Suns up to display with the backboards with some photo's I took of them in person.  I'll post a pic for you guys to check out when in a week or two.

I will say, Dominque for NBA Legends is a nice choice, hopefully he's donig a windmill dunk fully extended dunking like the Slam Dunk Championship.

It's also Nice to finally see a Gilbert Arenas piece - man has he been on fire.  One of my best friends is a teacher at Grant High School in North Hollywood, CA.  Gilbert was one of his students and he was sharing with me what a good student Gilbert was in school and that there was no real "hoopla" over him while he was in high school.  Just a fun fact for parents with kids - to share and motivate them to excel in sports and academics.

- edit / additional comments -

So much for the Suns only focus.  I won an auction for a Magic Legend and Series 2 Shaq.  I grew up in L.A. and have fond memories of the "Showtime era" and "Shaq era.

Here's hoping Batman, I mean Worthy's legend piece has him going baseline and dunking.  That's what we called him with those huge bubble goggles he wore.

I spent some time looking at the phot archives of all the series.  Man some face sculpts are spot on and some have no resemblance whatsoever of the player.  I'm sure you guys know that...bear with someone who's just getting into this line.

And my last gripe is some of the motion captures.  Gilbert Arena's passing?  Common the guy with one of the sweetest release shots passing ???.  All in all these are really cool I'm just going to be choosy on which versions of players I get and care less about rarity / version or whatever.  I'm bidding on a Matrix variant and Vince Carter Raptor's variant.  Here's hoping I win those...

Thanks for replying Brent.

Sorry, can't help you there.  I did actually see, and leave behind, two Amare variants in Fort Lauderdale in 2005.  Those might be the only two I've ever not bought.  Hell, I bought two friggin' mimes today, so I'll buy just about anything ;)

This is frustrating...I am trying very hard to track down a V/C Jawa in the $250-$300 range.

This auction ends and I figure I'll get a non AFA graded one slighly cheaper.

Surprise!  Think again.

...end of rant.
