Here's what I found about the A Team movie

http://movies.go.com/movies/A/ateam_2002/index.html

I like the idea of a new team (B-Team?  ;)) with cameos from the surviving original members, but wouldn't rule out a remake of the show using Hannibal, BA, Face and Howling Mad Murdock.

He would be the one.

Speaking on the Ateam anyone hear they make a movie.

I've heard minor rumblings.  Depending on what the script is, it could be a good popcorn flick.  (not that the show was Oscar material) I'll see if I can dig some info up.

And I'll think of another question  ;D

Saga '02-'04 / Re: Pegwarmer of the Year Award
« on: March 31, 2003, 03:22 PM »
In the Boston area:

Target: Senator Jar seems to be the winner, along with Flipping Obi and the accessory packs

TRU: Padme pilot, Anakin Tatooine attack, Darth Maul with red stripes along with POTJ Bespin guard

Walmart: Suprisingly, Destroyer Droid, Yoda JC and Clonetrooper pilots. I guess Hasbro thought everyone would want multiples of the CT pilot, but unless you have more than one gunship the most you would need is 4 (which is stretching it, because regular CT manned the gunpods but some use the pilots that came with the pods)

I am one of only five that voted for the Cloud Car.  Why this vehicle has not be released in the modern era is beyond me   ::)

Collector's Tips / Re: Keeping up with figures
« on: March 31, 2003, 10:24 AM »
Mine's on an Excel spreadsheet with different tabs for different items (Carded figs, Loose, Vehicles, Lego) with columns for quantity, if the item is trade fodder (carded figs only) and comments, which is no where near being updated.  Once I get a new item, I update the list.

I still have to do a tab for all the misc stuff I have (mugs, glasses, Hallmark, etc) but I do have most of it written down.  It just needs to be put on computer.

And James, if you're interested in my template, send me an email at mdavidson@corjen.com and I'll forward it to you.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Top 500 Alternative Songs Ever
« on: March 28, 2003, 02:29 PM »
I too also prefer Alive over Jeremy.

And keep in mind that this list was compiled by a radio station, most of which aren't known to play an entire track list off an album, just a select few songs.

The reason for the marathon is because they just changed their format, going back to what they played two years ago, alternative music. They tried to compete with a well known radio station in Boston, playing the same type of music, but the ratings weren't there, mainly because the competitor was also the local broadcaster of Stern and Opie and Anthony.  Thats the whole reason I started listening to FNX, because of music and not talk.  The old school format was newer rock such as Godsmack, Limp Bizkit, Korn, etc. mixed with the alternative music that made them famous.  While I like Godsmack and some of the other bands, I'm glad for the change.  Now during the day I get to hear old school Clash, Ramones, U2, etc.

I bought it as well. It looks like the first 13 episodes of season 1.
I have not been able to find Family Guy. I want that DVD set.

Family Guy comes out April 30th, which can't come soon enough  ;D

Jocasta's Reading Room / Re: Where to start (comics)?

Where's the best place to get them?

Any large scale book store like Barnes and Noble, Borders, etc. should have a fairly decent collection of TPBs.  They're usually near the science fiction section of the store.

In addition to what Brad said, I would also recommend looking into TPBs of the Rogue Squandron comics.  The whole run should be out in TPB now (except the first arc, Rebel Opposition)

If you're into a sometimes humorous look at the Star Wars universer as told by different authors, I suggest also picking up Tales.  Its produced quarterly (issue 16 came out last week), but there are 2 or 3 TPBs out now that reprint the earlier works.  Some issues are not as good as others, but there a quite a few excellent stories in them.

I don't know if you're really into comic books at all, but the Clone Wars stories in Republic and accompanying one shots are excellent.  It might be worth it to add them to you're monthly list (if indeed you read comics)

Hope this helps  ;D
