I will get it because my son love's the entire Jedi vs Seperatist's portion of the Prequel Trilogy.  He's got a beat up version from a garage sale w/out the gun turrets.  I'm not looking forward to the price, but at least 3 figures come with it and those ball-turrets.

To be honest I am tired of exclusives becuase of the inevitable price hike on something that is already $5 too high to begin with.    That alone kills a bit of my ethusiasm for the line.  I can imagine a Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart exclusives already.    TRU will probably have a $30 R2-D2 Dagobah paint application variant as their exclusive.  Or Wal-Mart will have a $100 Cantina Band Set.  Target will have a $30 Luke Vavin Ceremonial figure.  I assume this SDCC will be $30 as well plus shipping if you order it online.  I am sure it will be a cool figure and all, but I just hope they don't go over board with the exclusives. 

Yeah, I just wanted to see them in the theatre again.  It was interesting to see it in 3-D.  Granted TPM is my least favorite SW film.  I'm more into seeing the OT in 3-D just for the fun of it.  It's a good ramp up to Episode 7.

The problem is people just can't wait for confirmation on anything.  In the rush to be the first media will take anything out of context, sarcastic, or otherwise as official word.  At this point in the game if it's not verified on StarWars.com it's not true.

I found these about a week ago at 2 different Targets.  I picked up the Villain set.  I like other one but already had 8 figures on order from Amazon.  That freaked out the wife enough alone.  I am sure leaving the droid set behind will come around to bite me later.  At any rate I love the new Snaggletooth.  I was going to keep him in the package and then decided he was funner out of the package.  That was probably a mistake to because I will end up rebuying it to keep packaged down the road.  I was just happy to see something new on the pegs at retail. 

Hell I don't think I have seen anything new since TPM.  Before that I saw an Echo Base Trooper.  So, I think that was remnants of the last "new" wave I have seen other than TPM wave of course.  Anyway, I want a few of the Royal Guards for sure.  I don't really care for the extra comic book accessories but it's nice that Hasbro included it for those of that you that do.  I would not mind TPM wave figures being online exclusives.  Not that I don't want them but they are just going to clog the pegs another 8 months.
