Watto's Junk Yard / Re: The Scum continues it's downward spiral

I thibk you're very rigt about that Scott. I too miss the days of BHC.

Things have actually become better in the vintage section resently, and people trade newcommers more friendly. Sure there are stll some jackasses thre, but also friendly  and helpfull people such as eg. Chris Georgoulias and Michael Mensinger to mention a few.

The vintage trading and vintage clasified sectors are also great and free of hostility.

So all in all RS isn't so bad as some of you guys make it, well exept for Wuhers that is. I don't post in Wuhers anymore exept for the Wrestling and Wrestling  Trivia threads, now that they are sending WWE on tv here in Denmark again.

Anyone buying this tomorrow?  I might, haven't bought a new CD since Wilco and that would make 4 for the year with the Velvet Revolvers and Lost Doggers

I haven't bought an REM disc since Up, and I've heard good things about Around the Sun

I'm listining to it at this very moment Scott. Imo it's better than Up and Reveal.

Vintage Kenner / Re: Best vintage deals you've gotten
« on: September 10, 2004, 02:01 PM »
Back in in 1997 I found a c8.5 Barada at a flea market, I bought it for half-a-dollar. It was missing the weapon but still cheap, later got his weapon. Traded it for a Han Solo (Carbonite).

This meens I actually got a vintage Han Carbonite for half-a-dollar.

They did it!!!!

For the third time in a row the danish handball ladies won the olympic gold. Ok this time it was really really close. Ordinary time, and both expansion was a draw so there was a penalty throw disition, and the danes won it with 2 goals.

This is Denmark's second gold medal in Athens, we also won a gold in men's 4-man rowing. Then we have 6 bronze medals: short put (men), 800 meter running (men), table tennis (men double), badminton (mix double), and the last two was in saliling).

Vintage Kenner / Re: Vintage Instructions
« on: August 21, 2004, 03:13 AM »
I have kept allmost all my instructions for my toys, not only Star Wars  but in general. Old LEGO instruction were quite cool back in thr 1970's, as they where multicolored even back then.

I have thought about start collecting instructions for the vintage Kenner vehicles and playsets. I don't care which logo is on (SW, ESB, RotJ) just want one of each.

Im 100% open fan.

My collections is placed next to my computer, and on the opposite wall as my bookcases, and the door to that room is open, which meens any vistior can see the figures.

At my former work for SA ViewCom (a LEGO owned company, which makes communication systems for trains) I mentioned it would be cool to build the big Star Destroyer. The job was  temporarily at 5 month period, but I got a cool parial gift...The Colector's Edition Imperial Star Destroyer.

OK I admit, some of my friend thinks that I make more money on selling Star Wars stuff at conventions and so than I realy do. I do sell well, but considering buying price, transportation etc. the profit is not very high, but convention are damn fun.

So today the REAL olympic games begins (athletics / track & field). Well actually it stated wednesday with the short put wich was held at Olympia, where the anicient greek contested aprox. 2500 years ago. Demark actually won a bronze medal, Joacim B. Olsen first danish medal this year.

Later the same day we won a bronze in mix-double badminton, only two bronze for Denmark so far, but more to come I hope and belive. We are two times olympic chsmps in womens handball, we also are favorites in rowing, and the world record holer in mens 800 meters running is participating for Denmark.

Now...if you'll just admit that you're "Durge" as well........ ;D

I still wouldn't be shocked to find out that Durge and GNT are the same person. Somehow that would just be so fitting...

It would never happen.  GNT would never split his posts between two names - it would take away from his post count.

A long time ago, when alot of Rebel Scumbags speculated on how GNT looked like, I asked if he was one pewrson or severel persons using the same account. he answared himself something like 1 or 3 hats the difference.

Now we all know the thruth. Bountyhunter GNT was two persons, the cousins Greg and Gregg. Now Gregg is GNT and Greg is Durge.

I would never have thought they are the same, as stated eariler I thought Home Schooled was EiiYahoo14.

Seems like I owe you an apology JJKS, not that I'm gonna give it to you, but I do owe you one. Actually I owe you two, the other for ignoring you Ivar Hansen photo at Rebel Scum. But take a look at page 4 of the "Dead or not dead" thread, and I bielive you'll find something that you like.

Vintage Kenner / Re: Tell me about trilogo carded figures please?
« on: August 15, 2004, 02:24 AM »
okay, this might sound like a dumb question, but are the tri-logo figures the same as the palitoy figures? well, what i mean is were the tri-logo figures made by palitoy, or by kenner? or are they totally different?

This is not a dumb question at all. At the moment I'm updating my famous chart of variations with, tri-logos and so-called foreign variations (Takara, Glasslite, Top Toys and Lili-Ledy). I have asked Billyboy for help on the trilogo and Palitoy stuff, as soon as he fills the holes in my tri-logo list, I can post it here with the differences.

Many of the figures was similar to the Kenner figures, but some of them was indeed the special figures, today know as tri-logo variation. This term is collector made and was not used back then.
