30th Anniversary Collection / 30AC AT-AP Pod Walker

This thing looks to be a nice size, lots of canons and guns, seats 3 figures (2 in the walker, 1 on top). Looks bigger than a regular $20 vehicle.

Watto's Junk Yard / American Idol Season 6, voter atrocities, and YOU: who's watching?

Last week was pretty much an outrage as we saw Jared Cotter, Sundance Head and Sabrina sent home so that the likes of Sanjaya could make the Final 12. Not that there isn't some kind of uproar every year. But, out of the final 12, I've gotta say that I really only look forward to Chris Richardson, Chris Sligh, Gina Glocksen, and Brandon Rogers. Blake Lewis a little.
I'll predict at this time that Chris Richardson will win. The only one that I got right in the past 3 seasons was Carrie Underwood who I called would win in season 4 at the time of the Final 12. Last year I thought it would be Chris Daughtry.
Here's who's left that I am at all interested in watching perform:

I can't believe Sanjaya made it over them. The Indian Conspiracy Theory is running rampant. There are about 360 million Americans and about 1.1 billion Indians. If in fact they're voting for him strictly on nationality, could it be Sanjaya is the next American Idol? Yikes.

Collections / Dressel's stuff

Hey all.
I just got into my new house. The first area I set up in a spare room was the Office/Sports stuff area. I mounted some wall shelves and displayed all of my McFarlane stuff.
Next up is the Star Wars room in another spare bedroom. I'm gonna be putting up the same kind of shelves, just more of them, then mounting carded figures on 2 other walls.
Here's the Sports Stuff/Office, complete with the view out the back:

The Prequel Trilogy / Clone trooper/stormtrooper armor

I just found myself wondering, does anyone have an example of a clone trooper or stormtrooper that was hit by a blaster, had the shot successfully stopped or repelled by the armor, got back up and started fighting again?
I was just thinking back to the Utapau battle and Cody's clones got ripped to shreds by the droid army, dropped like flies all over the damn place from single blaster shots to the body.
I'm starting to wonder if there was a point to the armor.

Lawsuit against myspace.com
Who do you think bears ultimate responsibility for what has happened?
Here are my thoughts:
1. The 19 year old that committed the sexual assault. If convicted with overwhelming evidence, take the ******* and throw him in prison for the rest of his life. Punish him. Society has no use for this kind of scum of the earth, he serves absolutely no purpose. He cannot be rehabilitated.
2. The 14 year old's parents. Where are they in all this? Don't the parents have some responsibility to know what kind of activity the child is conducting in their own home? Shouldn't they know she is sneaking off meeting men from the internet?
3. The lawsuit against myspace.com should be thrown out. They really are just the metaphorical knife that was used in the stabbing.
I intend to stay away from the following terms during this discussion:
Republican
Democrat
Conservative
Liberal
Communist
Clinton
Bush

I was setting up a diorama of the Mos Eisley Cantina today when a question popped into my head.
If a gunfight broke out inside the cantina (against Wuher's wishes) and everyone went for their blaster at the same time, who would be the last man standing?
The only disclaimer here is that the fight goes down before Obi Wan and Luke enter the Cantina.
I'll reserve my thoughts until the responses are posted.

The Jets looked like a high school football team today. All that talk about, "Oh, the Jets are gonna run wild on that Chiefs defense," and "The Jets defense is gonna stop Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson cold" didn't really pan out like these NY writers thought.

Revenge of the Sith / WalMart Mega Display

I don't know if you guys will find this or not, but I just got back from my Walmart and for some reason in the SNACK BAR area there is a 64 peg hook mega display of star wars, filled with the case assortment that has the Red Coruscant Clone and Green Clone Commander packed 1 per case. They had 35 of each figure. There is also clone 41's, Mustafar sentries, Obi Pilot, Vader, 4 armed Grievous, and Palps black robes in that case. Also AT RT drivers galore.
That's a very weird spot for this, not sure if it's nation wide, but man, what a huge score that was for me. Give it a shot.
Also, there were no new figures in their regular section in the toy aisle. Just this enormous display in the snack bar.

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil - Armed bandits in Brazil robbed a vehicle carrying more than 400 breast implants, officials said Tuesday.
“It happened last week, but we only learned about it recently as our clients started complaining. It is the hottest period of the year in terms of implant sales,” said Margaret Figueiredo, director of silicone implant manufacturer Silimed.
A spokesman for the state postal service confirmed that assailants, apparently men, robbed the postal van with implants Thursday night in Rio de Janeiro. Each Silimed breast implant costs nearly $400.
