I think they're doing an 18" Gipsy Danger.

   E...

Yeah, I saw it on eBay last night, from some seller in Denmark of all places. The thing looks awesome. I wonder what the MSRP will be here in the states.

Where's his blaster?

For $1500, they better not half-ass anything on these.

Holy hell, these are selling for $150 on ebay.  :-\

Shoot, that's nothing, some jackhole is selling the Alien Super 7 Prototype 2-pack for $995 on eBay right now. These sold for $40 at SDCC!

I swear I just wish I could reach through the computer and slap people sometimes.

Thanks for posting that pic. Yeah, those are pretty weak. Tell me the lightsabers aren't sculpted to their hands...ugh.

I've only seen grainy pics of the slide with the CW 2-pack, so I will reserve final judgment until I see better photos. What the hell with Obi-Wan though? How do you not put him in the Mando armor? That's like a license to print money.

Yeah, I just saw the retraction on their Twitter feed. Good to have clarity on that, this line doesn't need any more obstacles between it and collectors.

One of our Targets dropped the price on these to $10 so I caved and picked up a Slave 1. I might get the Tank too if I see it out there.

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: Recent Clone Wars Finds/Purchases

One of the local Targets finally went to 50% clearance on Clone Wars figures, so I started things off by grabbing the last Chewbacca and Phase I Clone Troopers they had.

$4.98 a pop is not terribly cheap, but enough to entice me to pick up some of the better figures. If they get down to 2-3 bucks I will probably grab all I see for cheap fodder.

I found Wave 1 at TRU yesterday and pounced on them for $15 each. I figure this line is going to have a very brief life.

I see they are advertising an SDCC Gerry Lane exclusive but he looks exactly the same as the regular single carded version that had been shown previously. So not sure what, if anything, is unique about that one.

Saw pictures of Wave 2 from SDCC last night. Eureka Striker looked terrific, and Leatherback is HUGE! Good luck getting him on a card. Was really hoping we would get a confirmation of Wave 3 this weekend though. Fingers crossed. Cherno Alpha or bust!

They also showed a gigantic Gipsy Danger, at least a foot high if not more, very impressive. Have not heard what this is or if/when it is being released though.

Night Owl showed up on my doorstep yesterday, outstanding figure, as anticipated. Probably my favorite after Rorschach.

Curious if anyone has heard any buzz about this line continuing after 2013? There are still a lot of good character choices left, and with only 6 slots a year to fill, seems like they could keep it going longer if they wanted to. I hope so, I really like these.

Greedo is an EE exclusive? (as per GH)

Was this always known and I somehow was oblivious?

Oof, what a kick in the nards. Thanks for the info though.

Well, if it's any consolation, I saw these today at Target for the first time and I was happy to leave them there for the next guy. The only one I was curious about was the Shock Trooper but it did not impress.

Still no signs of them putting TVC on clearance, those are gonna be some crowded pegs in a few more weeks.

Middle Earth / Re: The Hobbit - Toy Line

I was practically begging for an excuse to jump into this line. But like Chewie, these NEVER made it to a reasonably priced Walmart or Target around here. Nor to either of our remaining K-Marts. I would have gone nuts on clearance Hobbit figs. Guess it wasn't meant to be.

Our TRU still has a buttload of these too, and based on their stubborn refusal to lower the price, they will be collecting dust for awhile. They've still got Pirates of the Carribean figures on the pegs for chrissakes!
