No draftniks in here?

Slow night for Skins fans, with no picks until #51, but interesting nonetheless. Only 1 QB taken and no RB's...odd year. Looks like some good depth falling to the 2nd round too.

I have to admit I love seeing that Teo douchenozzle getting nary a sniff from about 30 different teams. I'm sure someone will take him tonight, but refreshing to see people ignore the hype early on at least.

Who's getting the Honey Badger? From his rap sheet, seems like a perfect fit for the Cowboys.  :P

I strapped on my flak jacket and stopped by a Big Lots yesterday on the way home from work, just out of curiosity. They had absolutely nothing SW related in the whole miserable store. Remind me to get a vaccination before I step foot in one of those places again...eesh.

$18 isn't really a bargain price anyway. I'd prefer to wait it out and pick some more of these up at Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshall's when they'll be at a more appealing $7.99-9.99 range.

Looks interesting enough. Surprised to see Loki in it. Had no idea he was going to be in this one.

I'm officially off board then. That effeminate douche is the worst excuse for a "super villain" I have ever seen. It's tiresome already, two movies is enough. Has anyone even bothered to read the comics?

Hela would have been a way better choice.

LOL, I went in a Peebles last week because they looked like an out of the way place that might have toys. Pathetic. Their toy section was even tinier than Kohl's.

All I can do is keep checking Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshall's and hope for the best, I guess.

Where is the Naboo Starfighter thread?

And WTF is a "Gordman's"?!?!

And why can't people on the East Coast get access to these!  >:(

That Patton Oswalt Star Wars filibuster from tonight's parks and rec episode was hilarious.

Star Wars Universe / Re: Are you ready for yearly Star Wars films?

So, Disney decides to kill all other SW related entertainment for the 2-3 years to drum up some hunger for the new movies, but then all concern about manufacturing anticipation goes out the window and they're ready to crank em out relentlessly like a new line of cars each year?

Don't get me wrong, I love having new SW movies coming with some regularity, I just don't see how stuff like 1313 and the Clone Wars show were really going to mute the impact of the ST as far as a pop culture phenomemon. They should have left that stuff alone or better yet used it as a platform to set the stage for the next stories.

I was shocked to read that he was married to Sarah Douglas, Ursa from Superman II and the evil queen from Conan II. She was always one of my favorite geek chicks.

Even odder, I read they starred together in People That Time Forgot, which was just on TV yesterday. I caught the end but he was unrecognizable.

no, no and no. HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER FTW!

"It's either you...or them."

Honorable mention goes to his role as the homosexual man-rapist in Sea of Love. Super disturbing.

he's gonna bring a lot of creep factor to GOTG...

Sounds super awesome to me, well most of it anyway.

The Shade? Freaking cool.

Talz sidekick Muffie? Ugh.

I have to wonder if this would ever see the light of day though. Anything that has a connection to 1313 seems like a lost cause now.

They are firing people who actually do their jobs well, yet Hasbro continues to bask in impunity. They are the worst managed thing associated with Star Wars right now and yet operate without any fear of reprisal or accountability whatsoever.

Saw a bunch of Walmart DVD 2-packs at Tuesday Morning yesterday, but they were all the Ahsoka/Clone sets. None with Obi-Wan. Weird. Still $7.99.

Got my variant Boss yesterday...damn, he is sweet. Probably the last Clone Wars figure I will ever buy that I didn't already have.

Green and yellow >>> blue

I want to own a copyright to a comic character and not allow anyone to re-imagine it.

Today I finally picked up the Warriors and Droids Euro-exclusive Warriors and Droids multipack. It was a pretty penny but what I considered to be one of the very, very few remaining "gaps" in my collection. (The only other one now is the English language version of the Special Value 3-pack with Grievous, Obi-Wan and Cody)

The Warriors and Droids multipack is all repacks of single carded figures, very similar to the Legends of the Clone Wars multipack, but a cool offbeat novelty nonetheless, IMO.
