I didnt see Valk or the 3 3/4 line on display.

Sorry, but I have no pity for anyone involved if these lines go away.  There is obvious interest from fans and zero hype.  >:(

Did they show pics of Valk at the TF?  I saw She-Hulk, but not the Valk.  Surprised we didn't see ML 4 either.   >:(

The new IM figs are growing on me.  Classics She-Hulk and Ronin look pretty good too!

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: Speeder Bike Recon Battle Pack

Oh - okay, so it's a Clone Wars line battle pack. That's okay I guess. Good for me a suppose, it means I only have to pick up two and not three or four.

Well, you don't HAVE to pick up any of it dude.   ;)  Hard to tell if the set will be cool or not - like most people, I'm still on the fence about getting the animated style figs.

Very happy that Hasbro is finally cranking out new vehicles.  At least three for me please.  :)

I'm just hoping that they're sticking to their "special" $20 price point for these assault vehicles.

Amen!  I'll stick with this if its $20, but not very impressed if the cost is higher than that.

Really really really wish these weren't animated and I hate the action features, but some of the clones look almost "realistitic" enough.   :-\

I take back everything I said about the AT-TE.  This thing ROCKS and I will be getting one sealed and one to open.  The added fig is a nice bonus, though still not sure if I will collect the animated line.  Its a good opportunity to jump ship for those of us with space and/or $$$ constraints.

The Legacy Collection / Re: TOY FAIR 2008/Tatooine Pics!

That the best Harrison Ford likeness in a long while. It's a shame the hair is blowing but I really dig this wave of figures.   now we need the new slave Leia to go with this set of desert storm figures.

Where's the Leia?????

I was actually thinking the same thing....screw the 6 boobed lady i want my SA slave leia! ::)

I'm pretty impressed with the detail in this wave, but yeah - would have liked to see a better Leia than some of the others.  I wonder if there will be an Evo Leia set down the road?

I recently dropped all the SW books I was pulling each month - Legacy, Dark Times and Rebellion.  I thought they sucked.  Never read KOTR, not really interested in that time period.

I loved the Clone Wars / Republic stuff, though.

I was not initially interested in this time period either, but I gave the book a try and was hooked in the first few issues.  Very good storyline IMO - much better than some of the KOTOR mini-series books from a few years back.  The new crossover will go through all four monthly titles, which should make for a pretty amazing story, and it starts this month!

Found the new Legends figs with Rex Stickers at Target today.  Picked up the two new Pit Droids, another Biker Scout, E3 Clone, and Darktrooper.

Isn't this just Hasbro trying to "control" the flow of information about product like they always do?  Between published reports and the CNN video, I think its pretty fair to say that at some point this year, we will see an AT-TE for $100 on shelves somewhere.  Not sure why they have this need to stick to an official announcement when the cat is already out of the bag.  :-\

IGN has an article suggesting production will ramp back up in March and they will finish shooting, but the second half of the season won;t air until Fall 2008 or 2009.

Hmmn...sucks to have to wait longer, but I'd rather get the rest of the shows late than never!  Woohoo!

Other Toy Lines / Re: Transformers
« on: February 13, 2008, 11:53 PM »
Just an FYI for Transformers fans - Target has some nifty autobot black T-Shirts in the men's section along with all the other printed T's.  I think they're just $10 and some were on clearance this weekend for $7, so if you want a TFormer shirt, might be good to check out.  They also had an Imperial Logo shirt on clearance, but every store I've been to just has Mediums and I need an XL.   :P

How Many Five-Year-Olds Could You Take in a Fight?

Says I can handle 21 of the little buggers.  As the father of a five-year-old myself I know that it'd only take a well-aimed headbutt to take the fight out of me real, real quick.

...and the last couple of questions are so very, very wrong...

Only 15 for me.  I draw the line at using a 5 year old as a weapon against other 5 year olds and/or throwing them.  :o

I would suggest picking up some of the SW comics if you're not already getting them.  The Vector multi-timeline crossover starts in KOTOR this month, so perfect jumping on point for those new the these books.
