Iron Spidey was pretty recent and should probably be pretty cheap on ebay.  Same for the Blade figures - they sat around here for quite a while.  I still maintain that Deadpool is too much of a stretch for them to re-do.

I picked up the rest of the FF figures tonight :-X  Silly, I know, but for $21.50 for the whole set (plus $8 shipping, I couldn't pass).  I got the Invisible Woman and Namor to pull a head swap on and I can probably sell Mole Man and Reed for the same amounts again locally.

21.50 for the set?  Was that a clearance find or Ebay?

Coming soon to a TV near you...

Wow, the Giants plan to tickle Favre into a loss?  Just hope its closer than that 35-13 trouncing earlier this year.  Hey, wasn't Favre named the offensive player of the week based on that game?   ;D

Anyone going to Cloverfield tonight?

I was planning on going, but Marcus theatres refuses to show it.  Main reason I love that theatre is because of their UltraScreen which is 75feet wide x 32 feet tall...Guess I'll have to to to a "regular" theatre.

bastards  >:(

God, that's lame

Agreed.  Is this just a money issue you think?  >:(

Mmmmmm yyyyeaaahhh.  And I'm referred to as an over confident Packers fan.   ::)

Chicago holds a 27-18-2 lead in its all-time regular season series with the Giants, which dates back to 1925. The Giants' Tom Coughlin is 2-4 against the Bears as a head coach, including 1-2 since coming to New York. There most recent game was a 21-16 narrow victory thanks to a last ditch game winning drive from Eli.

Last time the Packers played the Giants, Packers won 35-13, barely edging past New York by a little more than three TDs.

...and the Silver Savage, which is what the Silver Surfer was called when he fought in a gladiatorial match against the Hulk during the “Planet Hulk” storyline, where he carried his surfboard like a shield!

I might be the only person alive that enjoyed the Mojo sub-story, so I'm ok with Spiral coming out.  I'd suggest they're reaching to suggest this is a Legend of some sort, but that's really just a semantics argument.

I'd probably pick up the Adam Warlock and then just look at the rest before deciding.  Of course wave 5 is so far out for me it's ridiculous, we still haven't seen wave 3 up here at a regular retailer.

I 'liked the Mojo storyline, just not a fan of the figures.  If I could get any character from that tale, it would be Quark.

Well the Packers won against every team not named Bears or Cowboys this year,

So the Giant do have a chance!

How do you figure?

We've already heard it, but ToyFare has confirmed that Spiral will be in HML Series 5, and they also have a pic.  They say "stay tuned to WizardUniverse.com soon for the rest of the pics", but I don't know how "soon" that will be.  Figures rumored for this wave include: Black Costume Spidey, Adam Warlock, Silver Savage, USA Agent, and Union Jack.

Nice to finally get a US Agent.  Not too interested in the rest.  Who the heck is Silver Savage?

For me it's the precise opposite.  The Giants won almost every road game, and lost almost every home game.  This year, they're road warriors.  So based on that, you should want the Pack in Jersey.

Well the Packers won against every team not named Bears or Cowboys this year, so since they're not playing the Bears or Cowboys, I'll chalk them up for a win.

There is no rationale to winning games on the road like there is to winning games at home.  Home games are likely to have a more familiar field, you get the fan support - what is your rationale for winning home games other than luck or schedule?  I certainly wouldn't bet any of my money on a road team just because they're on the road.

Heh.  Yeah, maybe, maybe not.  The only retailer in Canada carrying DC Classics IS Walmart.  $12.95 up here and the second they put them out, they're gone.  So US Walmarts might not be ordering them, but Canadian Walmarts are for now.  Yeah, I know, that's little help to you guys, but I was shocked to see them up here at all.

These are all over Target, so let me know if you need some yankee help in tracking these down ya Maple Leafer.

I liked the movie much more than I thought I would, but I do miss the G1 bots.  I get the desire to make them less blocky, more real and appreciate the attempt at that.  What I miss is the better proportioning of the G1 Robot modes (more humanoid anyway), and being able to see the general outline/body features of the old G1 styles.  Several times in the TFormers movie, I couldn't make out if it was an arm or a leg or what hitting some other arm or leg or what and which darn robot was hitting who.  Maybe its just too many close ups, but I'm attributing it to robot design.  That's the only thing I would love to see improved on next time around.

Fair enough - I'm sure if it were me I'd be confident in my team too.  :)

I'd go against my own team's chances and shoot for pleasant surprise.  ;) Only reason I'm not is that I have seen pretty strong play out of the Pack all season versus strong play from the Giants for two weeks, AND the game is in Lambeau.  Play that game in Jersey and I would be much less confident.

Of course, we're all guessing wrong because San Deigo is going to crush the Pats this weekend.   ;D :o ;D

He should have stopped the long winded waffling after this: "I have enormous admiration for Brett Favre.  I think he is an all-time great player. "

He's an all-time great player and you admire him and he has the stats to outshine almost every QB that has ever played, ...but in Mike's opinion, he's just not of the greatest QBs in history and you have not one thing to back that up with other than your opinion.  Sounds like a brilliant analysis to me.   ::)

Mike - did you ever get your Cobra Legions on clearance?  I thought I saw a ton of these last week, but haven't seen a single one since they went 75% off...
