I recall hearing it mentioned she would come with the data tape when it was announced that she was being re-released (SDCC?). The Hasbro press photo that Yakface has (see below and credit to them of course) shows a black block near her left foot which while not clear, I assume is the data tape.

Am I wrong here? Have I imagined all this?

That looks like instructions or a pamphlet down there.

Oh crap in a hat! You're right, I just compared photos of other figures in the TLJ line and they have the same thing in that part of the package. And some of those photos clearly show it to be the little pamphlet that comes with the figures.

Sorry to get everyone hyped on something that doesn't exist. I know I heard about the data tape, but it must have been speculation that I misunderstood and then thrown on top of that what I wanted to see in the carded Jyn sample.

I'll go slink back into the hole I crawled out of. Star Wars hobby reporting is clearly a young man's game now, lol

I had heard the same thing somewhere and I was in agreement with you until I saw the picture.  Maybe some other Jyn will be coming out with the data tape.

There is the 6" Black Series RFT that includes the Death Star Plans/card. Maybe that is what you're remembering?

Jayson - it is possible that's the case, but I was sure I read somewhere that Jyn was coming with a data tape just as P-Siddy did. But it very well could be a mix of many things.  :-[

Yeah I'd actually forgotten about the one with the 6" RFT.  That is pretty slick.  I'm happy to buy him anyway. :P

Maybe someone will cast a downsized data tape from the RFT to cover this need

I was able to get the newest wave off of HTS last week, so I think I'm caught up with the basic figures (single packs at least). Is this all we are seeing for 2017? I know we saw Maz, etc. at NYCC and have some multipacks coming, but will we see much more this year?

Just a note incase nobody was aware but R2 is Build-A-Droid and really really nice.  Probably the best vanilla R2 you can buy.  I'm gonna get a handful for part swapping and some R2 customizing with wear and tear.  But also for a basic clean R2 with foot wiring.

Is that using the original BAD parts with added articulation? Or is this all new?

Original I do believe...  the ankles and all that.  It doesn't seem to have the bottom holes either which is good.

Wow that's quite surprising. Might now just have to pick me up an R2
