The fun continues with JD's next Star Wars exclusive giveaway: Target's Lava Reflection Darth Vader! (http://www.jedidefender.com/giveaway.php)

Also included, will be one of Target's exclusive Darth Vader gift cards, featuring a light-up lightsaber and sound effects.  If the card wasn't cool enough in and of itself, there's a $5 balance on it to get yourself a new figure.

Trust me, you don't want that.  It's not pretty.  He just about gave a woman in a wheelchair a heart attack when he dove for a puck when we were in Indianapolis.

Damn excitable guy he is.  Dangerous.

Not to mention, it'd be a losing cause for anyone involved.  ;)

On the Lava Vader front, it appears we may be having some issues with the e-mail address that we set up for the contest, so we're looking to resolve that ASAP.  So if your entry bounces back to you, just send it in again tomorrow, as it should be fixed by then.  We won't penalize folks for a potential second entry due to this little snaffu, so no worries there...

Already fixed!  8)

Indeed, he very nearly killed the woman that was singing with the Jazz ensemble in the opening ceremonies.

I'm sure I speak for a lot of us when I say we really appreciate the contests!  This sure is a fun little community that is more enjoyable that other "coporate" run fan sites that only give a **** about money.

I, for one, really like the quality of posts that are made here as well as the quality of personel and forum members.

The LavaVader and Target light & sound gift card arrived on Friday.  I'm so glad I won, because I'd passed on LavaVader when it hit the stores ($15 for an action figure, even an exclusive, was just too much with all the other stuff I was buying).  I'm thrilled to have it in my collection!  (Now I just have to remember to put the gift card in my purse -- I got to Target today and realized I left it at home, but I went ahead and bought the Rebuild Darth Vader deluxe figure without it.)

Glad to hear the Lava Vader has a happy new home, Auriette!  Don't forget to actually hang on to your Target gift card even after you cash it in, since it's a pretty cool collectible in and of itself.  ;)

Congrats again, and hopefully we'll continue to see you around the boards here at JD!  8)
