Got the Boba and C-3PO exclusives, but passed on the Vader as I'm trying to skip as many variations as I can in the 6" line. 

I couldn't be less interested in this release.

I don't know if Walgreen's has a choice of what they take, or if they're only allowed to take variations on existing figures.  It would be nice to see them get all new exclusives (like GameStop, Target, etc.).

I have heard from a few sources that Walgreens prefers OT figures, which makes it harder for them to snag new figures like other stores since most "new" new 6" exclusives are from new media/movies.

Early on, I read a press release from Walgreens or Hasbro that seemed to indicate the strategy was to focus on OT figures/characters.  That way, they'd attract the attention of the older Star Wars fans and it would be an opportunity to get them into stores to try to capture our pharmacy business as we age into more health problems (and more prescriptions to go with them).

I think its a great strategy to focus on the OT, but would like to see them get all new things like Hammerhead, Walrusman, Snaggletooth, Ewoks, Endor Leia, etc. than some weak spirit variation of Obi-Wan.

I wonder if this will be like other Walgreens exclusives. Spotty release until December when it's suddenly everywhere.

ugh, the parade of ignominious Walgreens runs is upon us. 

Probably my least favorite store next to Gamestop to hunt. So many damning glances from cashiers when you walk in and out in two minutes...

I would like to know if these are being found on the regular toy aisles or if they are being hidden on endcaps around the store as they are wont to do.

They've been found in reg. toy aisles, seasonal area and endcaps.

I checked 4 Walgreens locations  and finally found a Force Spirit Obi-Wan this morning.  I guess that one store was intent on sticking to the street date, although they had only one on the pegs.

Between looking for this and the GameStop stuff, I'm just too burnt out to keep it up anymore. If I see it, I'll get one, but I'm not going to keep hunting.

All street dates do is piss people off and make it harder to get toys. So over that.
