The Legacy Collection / Re: Legacy Collection Comic Packs

Compare helmets... The Commander's helmet look better without the pauldrons... But I dunno what is the problem... the pauldron or head/helmet?

Man... i love this group!

I'd feel the same way Jesse, if Hasbro could figure out a better way to not make poofy helmets... case in point, last year's TAC Stormtrooper and a few various clone commanders.  The helmets (and often the paint jobs as a result) are terrible looking compared to their non-removable counterparts... at least in my opinion.
But you're right, Faie's isn't bad at all.  Neither was Cody's, because they shrunk his head down to accommodate a tighter sculpt.

Also Gree, if you compare his none removable helmet variant & removable helmet, it looks close the same.

BTW: I love that camo Faie...well done at last.

Cracked open the Faie set last night, finally. Great job on both figures. Setting aside the lack of articulation on Vos's legs, his sculpting is superb. I'll agree with everyone else that Faie's helmet is too big, but one really can't export more from a removable helmet.

Hmmm I have to hunt for that pack today thanks for reminds me!

Just an FYI, you can always edit your posts by clicking the modify text in the upper right (next to the quote) on each of your posts. That way you can avoid "replying" to yourself.  ;)

Ooooh!....Thanx for the tip

So cant you just say that the yellow clone repack from wave 4 can also be used as the last variation of Faie?

Yes in my crude english I meant that heehe!

But even so, the pauldron is a bit diferent from the comic, also the comic continuesly ommit a piece of the paulrdon & not.

For the 3rd, however I think u can use of of these commander from the Betrayal of Felucia pack or the legacy commander of the 327 star corps with removable helmet....(PS: I can't remember if his pauldron was to his left or right , for more accuracy).

Ok searching through my comics, I find out that Faie used a left shoulder pauldron ----> (case closed) The Felusia pack has troopers with left and right ones.

Well all you know that Commander Faie wore 3 set of armors: a set similar to a Clone Engineer, one similar to that of the 327th Star Corps, and that of a clone swamp trooper.

For the 3rd, however I think u can use one of these commander from the Betrayal of Felucia pack or the legacy commander of the 327 star corps with removable helmet....(PS:  pauldron rank to the left.

I just got him in white, I'm wating for the comic pack... I love Vos...but I hate that hasbro always choose him to have the  none articulated legs.... I like these 3 new figures.

Wow...like a ghost town around here. Let me move these tumbleweeds out of the way...

And one to show off the knee articulation:

AIWHA Squad is featured in one of those CLONE WARS ADVENTURES books. The art is terrible and the story is pretty basic, but I liked the designs of these guys, and I'm always looking to make more commando squads, so there you go. I do need to add some web gear to his waist, but haven't found the exact parts I want yet. If someone ever makes a decent cast of a removable commando helmet, I'll customize all their heads, but in the meantime...what you see is what you get.

I'll probably have a few more customs done before the weekend's over, so stay tuned!

-DD

Gongrats!

Did you cut the original Commandos legs in parts, then u added the ariculation on it? It look like the pieces from the original, I just put other articulated legs....

How cool!

However, 99% of our board is comprised of guys that aren't "newbies" to this hobby...

And you're gonna find people have something negative to say about anything/everything.  That's what the boards are for really...  Discussing what you like, and likewise what you dislike, about the hobby.  In this case, most of us have been here for the 12+ years of the hobby, or longer if we collected vintage.  I totally see where those guys are gunshipped out.

Myself, I have one Gunship and due to it being out of scale it's the only one I'll be buying ever.

Hi

Well I think that I have to live with that, now that you justify your statment.

Well I guess if this was about a new Gunship, perhaps the never done Gunship that can transport a AT-TE, would maked the topic more fun to you all olders he?

I bet nothing negative you have to say about the AT-TE, cus is a new thing right?  ;) yes

Edited:

Well I guess I have to talk only to new collectors & Newbyies, cus I see the diference between the new & old collector...

I stopped at our local store looking for an A-Wing (didn't have any) yesterday, and they had a ton of these stuck in various places throughout the toy section.  They shared an endcap with SW Lego sets and leftover Droid Factory 2 packs, and there was another 5-6 shoved in the regular section in the action figure aisle.  I was just surprised how many they had for such a big vehicle, but I didn't see a single A-Wing.  Hopefully they'll be put out later on.

Just my 24 hr Walmart has it at the moment out, maybe 20 (A-Wing's), for $30 buck. I was tempted, but I was searching for figures instead.

Your Walmart maight has it at the storage, waiting to be out soon. You maight want ask one of the workers there if is there, the least they can tell you is that they can't take it out, till its autorized. very nice ship indeed.

====================================================================

BTW: You guys who post negative feelings to the new Gunship, cus you brag to have more than one( wish is cool btw  ;) ), should not do so...
Cus this turn off newbyies, & new collectors... Also you make look the forum bad & boring. Sorry but that is the animosity you cause lol!

It should be an exitement, for people  or kids who like the new CW series, also the gunship was meant for these CG figures wish is cool & a new thing.

Just imagine you never  had one  ;D

I just took one today, of course I love it!.... I will like to have the rest 5 or 4 of the previous years...

Also I saw the "Legacy A-Wing" with figure, darnet I had to skip it till this week.

does anyone knows if TRS or Target will have the repack Gunships?

I saw in a Game Store the one for CW ARC, for $75, I have the Arc hunt for Grevous figure's pack .
what is the innacuracy of this ship?  I see all are the same exept the paint job.

I can't explain why doesn't come with the turrets, I know you must buy the clone trooper figure that comes with that, but the turret is not the right size... Other: why they didn't complete the next doors on each side of the ship, or at leas make a figure that comes with that?

Anyway pic here.

Collector's Tips / Re: Opened Cards... what to do with them?
« on: October 11, 2008, 12:22 PM »
I see people sell this stuff on Ebay, but with the bubble on...

Perhaps people search for these cards with bubble for their figures, other, cus will like to have one of each wave of figures.

I think cards are cool, but the bubble is a pain, but I keep it complete.

I still have vehicle boxes, battle packs etc... it ocupy too much space.
