And then when the elevator door opened and Kelleran Beq was there?  I was so happy for Ahmed Best in that moment!  Because my daughter had watched Jedi Temple Challenge, and she immediately knew who he was.  And I know the hell that he's gone through since 1999, and he deserved to be treated so much better than he was. 

I hadn't even heard of Jedi Temple Challenge - I looked it up and its a kids game show hosted by Ahmed Best at Jedi Kelleran Beq.  Pretty cool.

I have so many questions about Grogu's PTSD flashback - I think that was my favorite part of the whole episode. 

I forgot to mention this.  This was pretty awesome with the Ahmed Best Jedi character saving Grogu and racing away in the Naboo Starship.  By far the best part of the episode.

After getting all the Theatrical Posters (minus Solo...it looks nice, but they style is just so different from the others) I consider my collection complete in this area.  I just got them all up in my new office and they look awesome!

Yeah, the Disney streaming posters have mostly been meh, but I'm sure they're not putting a ton of effort in to them either.  For the most part I still get them all and like them, although I don't like that they put dates on them. 

They're more or less free, or close to free from Disney.  If you link your Disney+ subscription, and scrape up all their free points throughout the year from other promos you get close to 1000 points, which will get you about 2.5 posters a year if you can get them on Wednesday Wins discounts of 400 points each.

If you ever need more points you can buy codes from DVDs on eBay for cheap too.

What's the deal with how Amazon is shipping figures these days with the little cardboard insert to protect the card?  Is that how they're coming in the cases from Hasbro, or is this something that Amazon is doing on their own? 

The only place I'm buying my figures these days is Amazon, so I'm not sure if this is just them or what.

It seems like a lot of extra work for someone, but I'm sure the MOMC collectors love this.

I was dumbfounded with the Pershing side story. Can someone explain how he is in the amnesty program, assigned a number in lieu of his Imperial identity, specifically not allowed to follow up on his cloning research, yet when we first see him in the episode he is hosting a lavish and well-attended TED talk on Coruscant as Dr. Pershing, describing his imperial cloning research in detail? None of this made any sense to me and kept me from getting too involved I his story.

Well said.  He's a TED Talk celebrity, but with a number and a mindless droid checking on his mental state. 

I really hope none of the shows (Mandalorian, Rangers, Ahsoka, etc.) spend any significant time on the failings of the New Republic that led to the rise of the First Order.  That is something I am willing to just accept without knowing any of the backstory with any of it.

Was it just me or was the whole Dr. Pershing side story incredibly long and boring, and at this point it seems totally irrelevant too?  I'm hopeful all that time spent on that side plot ends up mattering later.

I want more Mando, Bo Katan, and Children of the Watch action.

And I think Din just accidentally stepped off the stairs and sank in to the Living Waters.  My guess is that the bombing damaged the stairs and created a big hole that he unexpectedly dropped in to.  It didn't seem like the Mythosaur was all that close to the surface and all that active - just chilling about halfway down.

I just finished Last of Us from HBO.  I never played the video game so I can't comment on its accuracy, etc.  Although reading commentary people seem to like the accuracy, but also the freedom that the writers took to dive deeper in to some areas.

Overall I thought the writing was solid, the acting was really good, the characterization was excellent, and the story arcs all made sense.  It wasn't the best thing I've ever seen, but it was solidly entertaining.  My understanding is that there is a season 2 planned too although there really wasn't a cliffhanger so I'm not clear on an overall plot, although I guess there was a part 2 of the video game that the plot is going to follow. 

I know some people seem to fall on both sides of the fence with the characterization of GLBT people in movies, and it sounds like that was the case with Last of Us as well.  I read both gripes and accolades on Last of Us around this.  I for one thought the characterization of GLBT relationships was solid and didn't feel forced.

Their take on "zombies" was also pretty cool and different.  There was a head scratcher in there, but for the most part it was entertaining.
