The toys or the movie?
:P
-
The way I see it, Star Wars is a phenomenon, and I'm looking forward to enjoying the whole thing!
-
Good call Lando...
If I had to choose one over the other at this point, it would be the figures/toys. Mainly because such a big part of my life revolves around the toys, as I have an entire room dedicated to them, I customize a few figures each week, and go on several toy runs each week.
Not to say that I can't wait for the movie though... I think this will be by far the best prequel yet...
:P

Both, I like to collect and display the toys and watch the movie a hundred times over. of course, if I bring anything else to work, they might just make me take it all home ;D

I like the way you think. :)

Both equally.

I gotta say that I am looking so forward to the movie, but the toys definitely were not a letdown... if anything, I am overly surprised with the overall quality of the line so far.
:P

It's a lot more fun to spend a lot of money on toys when they don't totally suck like the Saga launch.
I like the toys, but I'm looking forward to the movie more.

After all the army-building goodness CHEWIE, I dunno. :)
Honestly though, the toys are only here because of the films, so the film takes priority, but every toy run I keep hoping to find those higher numbered figures right now. Never thought I'd be really looking thoroughly for SW figures in a movie year.
I'm not making special trips to just save my car/gas right now, but I'm looking when I am out anyway, and enjoying it. Pick up the odd Clonetrooper at the same time, or Wookiee Warriors, and just hope I find the stuff I really am looking for in the meantime.

The movie, definately the movie.

Clone #41 and the Deluxe Jetpack Clone....
I'm reading the book now and the Movie has promise, but the EPIII Clone Figures are definately winning that battle.
-
I agree the figures wouldn't be around without the films... but then again, the whole Star Wars experience wouldn't be what it is without the merchandising. :)
:P

I'm looking forward to both the movie and the toys. It's also cool to see the new clone troopers! ;D

I'm reading the book right now and I have to say that I am totally looking forward to this movie. Even more so than I was looking forward to AOTC. I read the book for that before I saw that one as well.
I do still go on daily toy runs into stores going to and coming from work - still hoping to find figures #37 - #40! If I could just find those four figures twice over, I could really take a break for a while since I've found just about everything else that's been released.
-
It's a tough call between the two, I love to collect the SW figures, but I am looking forward to the movie also. If I had to choose it would probably be the toys, since that is what a bulk of my money will be spent on :P.
But I'm still anticipating the movie.

I've been reading the ROTS novel - holy hell, this is good stuff.
:P

The movie, without a doubt. The toys/merchandise doesn't even come close. If this was some bizarre parallel world where SW toys were never released, it would not bother me a bit. The movies are what I love, first and foremost, and they are all that matters to me. If I lost it all tomorrow, I'd be sad, but knowing that I could go out and buy the DVDs of the five films, I would be fine in the long-run.
That said, if they do a good, large, plush Yoda along the lines of the Applause one from a few years back (that I never got), I would be a very happy panda. ;D
