I would imagine that most of the hotels within walking distance of the convention center are sold out by now.

Brooke is one of my favorites this season too. But I think she only has another couple weeks left at best. After Let It Be, I thought she could sneak in and win this season, but the judges havent been to kind lately.

I got my set in the mail yesterday. So they should start showing up to everybody pretty soon.

So does anybody else here even own a PS3?  Feels like I'm talking to myself.   ;)

Not yet, but soon. Probably around when GTA:IV comes out.

So there is nothing south of Tustin or Santa Ana or Orange? What about Pomona or Chino or around those areas? There was one in Rancho Cucamonga but it isn't there anymore.

I dont know. There used to be one on Chapman down by the Orange Circle, but I think that one closed years ago.

hey Phruby,

I either get my Comics at Amazing Comics in Long Beach. Huge store. Lots of good stuff. Or a little closer to home I go to Beach Ball Comics, at the corner of Beach Blvd and Ball Rd in Anaheim or Buena Park.  Whatever it is over there. There was Mile High that burned down like two years ago, and another store in Fullerton that went out of business.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: 2008 Target Order 66 2-Packs
« on: March 28, 2008, 10:52 AM »
It's more of a self imposed budget than anything. I'm really close to having a mortgage burning party and every little penny gets me there a little sooner. After that I am completely debt free.  ;D  Besides, there is a lack of display space around the house due to the kids taking over everything.

A mortgage burning party? Does that mean your house is almost paid off? If so, that is spectacular!! Awesome!

Anyways, I will only be getting three of this years sets, the ones with Tsui Choi, Luminara, and Master Sev. Dont need the others. Clearance doesnt seem to work for me because I always seem to miss them.

1 Aliens
2 Jedi
3 Alien Jedi

I dont really know though. I like lots of figures and I don't focus on one particular area of action figures. I just buy what I like.

Watto's Junk Yard / 2008 DVD Releases Thread

I had a lot of store credit at the Movie Trading Company - I spent surprisingly little out of pocket on all that.

Is that somewhere that buys back old movies??

I see your point. Hopefully this movie doesnt fall into the same trap though.

I agree with you guys. 50 plus dollars for just Aerosmith is kind of a strange idea. I like the variety of different bands as well.

I agree with Rick McCallum, but Ben Burtt the sound guy???? Is he really a yes-man?

Apparently the production is filled with a bunch of yes-men who think everything is a good idea and have no idea of the history of Star Trek.
