Other Toy Lines / Re: Diecast: Dinky-Matchbox-Hot Wheels

I'm not into Hot Wheels or cars at all, but I've wanted an authentic CAT dump truck for some time. I just have a thing for the giant dump truck. ;D Finally found a beauty online at www.diecastdirect.com . Got it in the mail today. Here's an eBay photo of the exact model.

It's 1:64 and a freakin' monster truck next to a 1:64 car. :D

Actually, I bougt one those recent Corgi Batmobiles at Walmart, too. The ones in the box, what were they 1:32, 1:18? I have a few Star Wars cast vehicles: Some of the MicroMachines and the Droids Parade Vehicle. LOL

That Japanese robot on page 1 is cool. I still have my 5" Dragun Shogun Warrior.

He never seemed like a new Wookiee. Just a previous Chewie with a retooled head. And when I looked him up recently, I saw how ugly that head is. :( Nah, I'll have to pass on that one.

Anyway, I can't wait for Ep III Wookiee figures! :D

I gotta wait for X-Mas for my Yarua...  Dammit.
I waiting for Jedi Force Chewie. :)

I'm loving the Iceman figure. Picked him up the other day. They really keep pushing the articulation with these things. He's got some fairly bizarre new shoulder joint. Well, new to me; I don't know if it's been done on other MLs as I don't keep up on them; this is the first I've gotten since Torch. Anyway he's pretty sweet. Base is awesome, too. Now I've got fire and ice! :D

Last I got was Yarua (Sooo cool to buy a new Wookiee that aint Chewie after all these years!) and the Cloud Car Pilot.

Can't wait to see Myo's one eye looking back at me from the pegs (and Trevagg and DJ).

Oh. That figure is what I meant by pack-in. The one packed in with the carbon freeze playset. That fig looks terrible.

Yeah, the POTJ one with the Force File. That was the only single-carded one, right?

Wasn't the one with the 'stache Hispanic?

I just got the POTJ one, and I'm really impressed. Excellent sculpt and detail. And 4 accessories? Fantastic! Each one goes on the belt and everything; removable hat; 2 elbow joints instead of the one you might expect from figures made at that time. Love this figure.

The pack-in on the other hand, judging by online pics, is a complete turd.

Fifty bucks says Bantha5 casts the head with no holes. That should fix the fig for a lot of people.

Seems to me that there are a number of "well, they hate me under that name so here's a new name" types in there too.  Anyone else pick up on those idiots?
What...?

It's a dungheap. Wouldn't be so bad if the dungposts were confined to Wuher's, but a couple kids insist on spamming all the figure sections with 2 or 3-word posts ever 30 seconds. It gets to be unreadable. I got myself banned for calling the lead retard, Yoda_Boi, a piece of ****.

Oh, I never even thought about those stupid warning stickers.  Hasbro really had their heads up their collective butts on that one - I'm sure the warning could have been done in a way that wouldn't have obscured the card so much.  Now I see the appeal of the Star Cases.   8)
More likely they're shrewd and know that many will tear one open and keep one unopened, to get the best of both worlds. And they clean up at $10 a pop.
