Other Toy Lines / Transformers

I don't know if there's a thread about this or not, but here goes.
Anyone else collect these here? I'm a G1 addict. Anything G1 that Hasbro reissues, I buy, even if I have the Japanese counterpart. I just found the TRU exclusive Prowl, and thirty dollars later it was sitting on a shelf next to the rest of my G1 stuff.

I might post pics of my stuff later. I'm hoping they don't have to be on the 'net as they do when trying to post at RS.

I want a bunch of different colors. I'm thinking I'll buy about five sets, regardless of color. I wanted to get a bunch of Droid sets, but those are a little on the ugly side, so I'll just use that money to get more Clones.

I wish Hasbro would do something like this for Stormtroopers. Man, that would be sweet.

I think my local Target has already received and burned through their allotment of new stuff. Damn. They got in the Padawan case a week ago, but they haven't yet received the stuff with new cardbacks.

I'm missing Chewie Mynock Hunt, Yoda/Chian, Ashla/Jempa, Red Battle Droid, and the new Deluxe Obi-Wan and Jango.
I also lack the following Unleashed figures: Mace Windu, Vader Redux, Leia(really want this one), Luke, Sidious, Obi-Wan, and whatever else is coming out on those groovy new cards.

I hope I find all this stuff before the Clone Wars line debuts and takes up the meager space retail stores have for Star Wars.

I'll pick stuff up off the floor, but only if it's a line I collect. I also put figures that are sitting on top of vehicles back on the pegs as well. I'll try to put rarer figures on the front of the pegs or stash 'em for fellow collectors.

Bring on those Clone packs!!

I've been jonesin' to go nuts buying SW figures this year. Hopefully the Clone Wars line will be given more shelf space than what Saga currently has now.

Maybe, if we all eat our vegetables and clean our rooms, Hasbro will be nice and have plenty of those 2003 figs everyone's been looking for right there with the Clone Wars toys.

I've noticed, if it's on a 2003 card, no matter what it is, it doesn't last long. R2 and Mace, supposed collector stinkers, disappear in 1-2 days, and it takes weeks before anything else remotely new arrives on pegs. What's the dillio? Are these not in distributor's warehouses or what? I find it hard to believe they get cases that infrequently and pegs sit empty most of the time, at least around here.

I found a blonde Imperial Officer at Target today, so maybe that's the place to be. I didn't find any Younglings or Yoda, or Red Battle Droid for that matter. Hopefully BBTS will stock them soon, cause I don't like buying cases.

I really didn't play these games in the arcade, but on the SNES SSF II Turbo I always played as Sagat and won a ot. Yay.

On MK II for SNES, I used Kitana, because I could use those blade-fan thingies with lethah accuracy, plus I could only do her fatalities.

I scored this pack, the Wampa, and the Death Star Escape Cinema Scene for $110 shipped. I don't feel it was a bad deal, because the Wampa and Tauntaun were going for $70 each on ebay at the time. Still a couple of my favorite pieces, although the Wampa could benefit from a cool resculpt, like soon.

I vote for Lobot. I don't remember him breaking into a dance that would require the figure to be posed that way. I'm jonesin' for a resculpt, but since even main characters can't make it to retail these days, I doubt it'll happen.

Tough question. I have two POTF2 AT-ATs, but that's not my overall favorite.

I think the Millenium Falcon is it, at least for today. I always wanted one of those and when I finally got one, it blew me away with how cool it was.
