----Darth Anton's wife/girlfriend peers out the window and hits the speed dial button for her therapist on the kitchen phone---

Darth Anton's Wife/Girlfriend:    "...I know it's Saturday, and that your home number isn't really for this type of thing, it's just....it's just it's happening again..."

Her psychiatrist: "It's okay, I'm here for you.  Tell me what has happened."

Darth Anton's Wife/Girlfriend: "I sent him out to the backyard to plant the lawn, and the next thing I knew he was on the internet and then..."

Her psychiatrist:   "He's in the hole with action figures again."

Darth Anton's Wife/Girlfriend: ::sobs::

Her psychiatrist: "We've discussed this before, and I have to remind you, it is a movie year."

Darth Anton's Wife/Girlfriend: ::sobs::

Her psychiatrist: ::plays with a ball of sculpy reclined in his leather office chair::  "And being a sinkhole planet, it was a unique opportunity to make a diorama..."

Darth Anton's Wife/Girlfriend: "This is Justin isn't it!!  Anton programmed CHEWIE's number into my psychiatrist's slot on the speed dial again, didn't he!!"

Her psychiatrist: ::wookiee ROAR::

Thanks Chewie!

Ironically, the pictures are showing as boxes with the Red Square, Blue triangle and Green circle for me (due to my antiquated machine,) but I know what they are.  ;)

This was just a quicky photo shoot. I'm working on putting a lawn in my back yard and had to remove a huge slab of concrete. When breaking it up, low and behold, underneith was that hole. Basically, there's a drain for my pool filter right there that I didn't know about (in fact, the city didn't even know what it was.) The drain is a 4 foot diameter, 8 foot deep cylinder made of brick and is by no means water tight. Water seeped in and took dirt with it leaving behind that hole under the concrete.

After looking at it I said, "of course, Utapa!" and made that quick little set up before having to take care of the hole. I wanted to do the fighter, but didn't have the time to set up a strong enough landing platform. :P

Saga Collection '06 / Ultra Assortment
« on: August 2, 2005, 11:15 AM »
So if I've read correctly, we'll be seeing the return of the Ultra sets in place of the Deluxe. Do you think they'll be themed as well like the '04 Saga attempt? What do you think will be good, or likely choices?

I'd like to see:

DeathStar trooper w/ work station (those cool round one's)
Bespin Solo w/Torture rack.
C3PO w/ Ewok ceremony Chair and Ewok
Uncle Owen w/ Mosture Vaporator

Can't really think of anything from the PT, but I'm sure you guys will have ideas in spades. ;)

Dispite the fact that we don't have cable, or direct TV, my daughter is well aware and in love with these guys. At least they're pretty reasonable for her to watch (when we're out of town,) they don't talk down to kids like certain purple dinosaurs we all know and hate.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: "Evolutions" assortment...
« on: August 1, 2005, 07:51 AM »
After cracking open the Anakin Evolution set, I have to say that these sets are just outstanding. I love the detail and it just looks like Hasbro poored a lot of love and care in each one. I sincerely hope that we see more of these in the future.

An obsevation to throw out there....

I popped open a Shocktooper, an I kinda feel that for being on a #6 body, it came out pretty nice. In fact, the paint scheme tens to redirect your eyes away from the clunky ball jointed shoulders sockets. Does anyone else agree?

I'm a sucker. I would have eventually picked one of these up, but when I saw the limited quote, I wound up ordering one ASAP. :P

I'll buy anything that Hasbro put's out in the 3 3/4" line,  but I think I would rather just have the beast itself without the figure because we will invariably get a non-articulated hunk of plastic that isn't good for anything ese other that riding. In general, the beasts have been rather well done, even in the POTF2 days, but the pack-ins have almost always left something to be desired. That's just my opinion.

Nice stuf Dale, Thanks.

The thing about Columbia that made me stop and think was is the fact that foam has been comming off durring evey lift off and that was the first time that it caused significant damage. It made realize that evey launch was a craps shoot, kind of a scary thought (beyond the million technical things that could go wrong.) I certainly hope they can figure it out, but perhapse this will push them toward a new launch vehicle.

Actually, the original foam they used on the tanks did not break off as much.  But NASA engineers decided to change the foam sometime in the 90's to make it more "environmentally friendly" That's when the orbiters were sustaining damage due to foam breaking off of the tank.

Wow! I didn't know that and that's actually pretty interesting.

I really wish he'd come with and extra left hand in the "v" pointing postition he used before fighting GG.  That would have made this figure the best ever.

That would have been cool. ;D
