Did anyone bring up the whole "exclusives" issue at the Q&A?

I think CZ3 is a great possibility, it's been rumored for quite a while. Everything else is a craps shoot. Glad we're getting the sandtrooper with an alternate shoulder color though.

A new Dr Evezan (or however you spell his name) would also be nice.

I saw it this weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. I think the original had much better characters and story, but this one still worked and worked very well. Depp was very odd, but I think his character was a bit more fleshed out in that the work he had to do at the end took him beyond the level of omnipitant being that Wilder's Wonka was.

The new version held it's own and I'm glad to have seen it. Also, Deep Roy was just a joy to watch. Hard to believe he had to have dancing lessons for the filming.

I saw F4 this weekend. I checked my brain at the door and was very entertained. I wasn't looking for Batman Begins quality, so that's why it worked for me. Sure there were some gapping plot holes snd I felt they could have been a little smarted about how they figured out they had certain powers, but what's wrong with making a fun popcorn movie?

I also went to see Cinderella Man, but the screening got canceled because Charlie and Wedding Crashers were doing so well, so I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in stead. :P  I'm a big fan of the original, but I have to say the new one is very good and it is it's own movie. Every time I said to myself, well, I like they way the original did this and that, the new one put it's own twist in that made it appealing on another level. Sure it misses a lot of the magic the original held, but it has it's own magic and I have to give a hats off to Tim Burton for pulling it off. The Original is still a better movie IMO though, and I thought Depps performance worked.

On a personal prediction note I cannot believe Hasbro will not put out a Cantina Han in 2005, I guess we are seeing the dawning of Endor Han.

You forget my friend, we got him in the cup. ;D

Can you imagine if we got another carded Wedge out of this series and it was the same POTF2 mold? :P

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Bonus Mini Hologram Figures
« on: July 18, 2005, 07:06 PM »
I don't see the idea working for every figure. For some it would be cool, but most just don't need one IMO. In the end it's just another gimick, possibly to justify raising the Basic figure price by another buck.

If anything, I would like the stands to be taken a step further to allow the creation of certain interconnecting ground environments like Imerial floors or the desert, etc...

Grey Tunic

Thanks. You know I don't know how I feel about that. This guy is in the BG and all the other guys are wearing black. I almost feel like the black is passable to fill the order. Who know's maybe they'le give us both. After all, they gave us a Blue Snaggletooth.

Now, what about a black uniformed Imperial commander being movie accurate.... ::)

In the meantime, perhaps it is time to unleash my alter ego "Blix" on the board and create havoc. ;)

I'm assuming you're kidding since any and all information posted on this site is generally discovered by representatives of that other site.

I am certainly kidding. I'm well aware that it is possible for my true identity to get discovered, even if I wasn't stupid enough to post my intentions publicly.  :P

To their credit, an announcement was made requesting all deleted account users to notify them and that the problem was actively being looked into. At least it seems more official, so I'll get an answer either way at some point. :P
