Very cool. Does that mean a horse was planned too? They could have gotten a ROTLA and IJATLC (or two) packaging's out of a single tool...

I recall them talking about the Flying Wing from ROTLA, but I wonder if it even made mock-up stage. It sure seems like they'd have had more vehicles planned.

Man...seeing that mine car just makes it more painful. If they had released that, and a sidecar for the motorcycle, I would have been ok with the line ending...

I've gotten some solid word on things that were in development, or were as far along as prototypes. The "German Sergeant" was part of a boxed set I believe, which was going to include some other goodies fans wanted.
Shame the line tanked... I'd pay a premium price (like we currently are for Star Wars) for high quality IJ figures and accessories that saw a limited release once or twice a year.

And it sounds like user Aussie_Nick over at rebelscum has the scoop and will be showing pics soon of Belloq in his white suit. His last post on the subject was back on 7/11/12 so hopefully we will see them sooner than later if pics are indeed coming.

I was kind of surprised that they didn't produce another Indy pack this year for SDCC with the BluRay set coming out and all...
Seems a real shame they got as far as they did with a lot of characters that would have been nice additions to the line - I'm still perplexed we never got Belloq in his white suit and a Dietrich - those two seem like no-brainers when covering ROTLA.

It's my least favorite of the films, but if not for that movie, we might not have gotten any figures made at all.
I also don't think the paint job quality on the figures helped, or some of the figure selections - Belloq, for example, should have had his white suit from the get go, and his "ritual" outfit should have come with the Ark. Toht should have been available early on, etc.
It's too bad, really.

True dat. Without "Crystal Skull" there almost certainly wouldn't have been an Indy toy line. But in the same respect, I think the Indy 4 movie just put a bad taste in people's mouths, and that had a negative effect on sales of the figures.
Be that as it may, I think figures of the German Mechanic, Dietrich & Katanga would've been awesome.

+ one million, brother. It's a shame Hasbro screwed things up with this line. It really would have been nice to get maybe two more waves and some more vehicles.
