I'm fine (not thrilled) with the figure choices so far. I needed some of these army builders repacked... but not as Wal-Mart exclusives!

Lame, this line feels like it has become nothing but exclusives.

The one good thing about the Bespin Wing Guard reveal is that Hasbro can now use it for a Trooper 4-pack with alternate head/hands like the RFTs.  Hasbro should figure that we've got to fill up that Carbon Freeze Playset with some guards.

I like the stormtrooper and the Bespin Guard.  Hell, I like the R2 and Death Star Gunner as well.

I'm just not looking forward to the rectal pain involved in ordering them.

Blame the "COMPLETE THE 96!" fanatics - they are the ones asking for these repacks.  Hasbro to their benefits seems to be adding a few new items here or there (like rocker ankles and holster on the Stormtrooper; head variants for the Bespin Guard) but "complete the 96" is the driving force for these.

“Fanatics” is a pretty apt description.  The things I take issue with the most are some of the figures that were really well done in lines like The Legacy Collection.  But because it’s not on a TVC card some people just can’t accept that. 

This feels like a case of Hasbro saying “Okay!  Okay!  Here you go.  Now will you go away?”

Love the Bespin guards and generally pleased with the offering. These are an aside from the main line, and as long as they are not overproduced to the point of peg warming, I hope select re-releases continue after completion of the 96. Lots of figs I want to rebuy either because I misplaced an accessory (or the whole figure),  want to army build, or use for customs. The only downside is the $14.99 price point. Ouch.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I like all 5 of the figure choices.  They're all nice upgraded versions of the original vintage figures.  I'm bummed that they're Walmart exclusives, but that's been easier to order than Walmart and a lot cheaper than EE or other Fan Channel exclusives.  I'd prefer just a regular release, but happy they're coming out all the same.
